Read before you purchase. The straps for wrapping cables that make a bundle of 1" diameter or larger. I purchased for wrapping up computer cables, home theater cables or similar amounts of wire. These are maybe 3/8" in diameter, not 1". To use these on smaller bundles, you need to thread the strap through the bucket about 3 times so the hook and loop meet. . They have a 2" strip of the hook material attached to the loop portion on the same side of the strap. The back side is smooth. The quality is good, you just need the right application. They should state in the description that these are designed for large (1' or bigger) bundles. If you want a strap for a 50' extension cord, these will work.UPDATE (8-8-16) The seller of these straps did reach out to me after the initial low review. They did make it right and provided a strap that is more suited for smaller bundles of wires. They also updated their description. I respect a company that does stand behind their product. They offer a similar size strap with full hook on one side and loop on the back side. This is good quality strap and is also sold on Amazon. I hope this helps.

These particular straps are highly versatile. They will bundle pretty much anything. I use them on my ear bud wires which are tiny (size of a small toothpick).these straps will also easily and continuously link together so there really is no limit on the size of what you can wrap them around. I would highly recommend this product its great quality and very useful!IF YOU WANT TO BUNDLE TINY CORDS OR CABLES:Put strap around the cords,put the end of the strap through the buckle,pull it however tight you want it,wrap it around so the soft velcro side is facing out. Once you get to the rough part of the velcro at the end of the strap fold it back/under so it will stick to the soft part of the velcro and hold.

These were exactly what I was looking for. Great for bundling a multitude of items: wires/computer cords, color pencils/pens, etc. Would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for these kinds of straps or in place of zip ties which can only be used once.

These straps are excellent for organizing all sorts of items. Great for bundling items together, wire/cable management, etc. Sure to come in handy for uses I've never thought of before. Good quality, and a must have for the ease of keeping things consolidated.

These straps are excellent. Before I had a different type which were hard to tighten down because of their design but these solved that problem plus you can string several of them together to get the desired length.

These work great. Way more than I needed. I try to find uses for them wherever I can. If I need longer lengths, I would connect 2 together. Great for my tool box.

I like my stuff nice and tidy. I use these for cable management and I also wrap my ratchet straps for my toys with these. THEY WORK GREAT!
