Are colors vibrant and blend easily?

Yes! ZenART oil paints feature highly pigmented, single-pigment colors where possible for vibrant hues. Their rich, buttery texture allows for effortless blending and smooth transitions.

Are paints durable and lightfast?

Absolutely! ZenART oil paints use high-quality, lightfast pigments to ensure long-lasting color that resists fading over time. These oil-based paints are formulated for professional-grade durability.

Do paints dry quickly or remain workable?

ZenART oil paints dry by oxidation, not evaporation. Thinner layers dry in days, thicker ones in weeks. Drying time depends on temperature, humidity, and surface absorbency. Full curing takes months, but they become touch-dry within days to weeks.

Is this set suitable for beginners?

Yes! Designed for all skill levels, ZenART oil paints offer a balanced palette, smooth application, and effortless blending, making them ideal for beginners while also meeting professional standards.

Are paints suitable for different painting techniques?

Absolutely! ZenART oil paints are perfect for impasto, glazing, layering, and wet-on-wet techniques. Their rich oil-based formula allows seamless mixing with other oil paints and mediums, but they are not water-mixable.

Excellent deal.

If you paint with oil then you probably use a lot of white mixing with other colors. I know that is usually the most used color. This set comes with a lot of paint for the price and it also comes with some mixing tips and a tube of Naples yellow hue. It’s a perfect addition to any painters set.
