Q: Does it work with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4?

There is no phone app for the KeyRinger. The app for locating devices they refer to is a web app at http://keyringer.com/call-basic.htm, which can be used from a browser on any type of smart phone.I however wanted widgets on my phone to locate devices. I viewed the source of that page to find URLs to download mp3s of unique sounds to locate each unit, e.g. http://keyringer.com/keyringer-tones/unique_5_1.mp3, unique_5_2.mp3 etc. I downloaded the mp3s to my Samsung Galaxy S5 and created buttons using the 'Instant Buttons' app, that play a custom sound for each device I want to locate (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cremagamesstudios.instant). Tada! No browser needed, instant widgets.

Q: Would this work to locate a purse if it was tucked inside the purse? Is it loud enough for that?

No. Not likely. It's not a matter of 'loud enough". Since it's an audio only device with no radio transmitter or receiver it will only alarm if the room is fairly quiet without loud talking or the TV on so the other keyringer can hear it. The new keyringer pair I tried can not work through a door, around a corner or through a window. It's an audio frequency transmitter / receiver pair that emits a test sound (probably between 2 -5Khz) and the other unit listens for that particular sound. If it's quiet out and you are fairly close (within 20-40 feet) it might hear it. It's a clever design for some situations but not ideal for locating something at much distance or if there's traffic or talking going on.

Q: Can I buy more of the double stick foam tape. It has been very durable and I need to move the device to my new phone.

Q: how durable if dropped?

Extremely durable. I am the queen of dropping my keys and it works like the first day I got it. I honestly can't live without this. I have one on my cell phone case too. You will love it.
