The way I see it,an important reason for having a maglite is safety,so it has to be very heavy-duty.This lens seems to fit that bill very nicely,and a bonus...I dont know why,but it is clear enough or something to make the flashlight seem to give off a much brighter light. Sounds like I'm being paid to give it a good review,but I'm not.Sure,this wasnt the best purchase I ever made,but good enough to make it so I didnt have anything bad to say,just good stuff.

Good clean, clear lens. Time will tell how durable it is. My lens where badly fogged and scratched, made a big difference in output. Fit just as it should no problem there. Yes I would recommend.

I should have heeded the other reviews. I received a scratched up lens. Total waste of 10 bucks.

I ordered the shatterproof lenses for my Maglite 3 cell because the original lens was scratched and yellow. These lenses are crystal clear. I also changed the light bulb over to LED. What a difference.

Plastic trash. Not sure why Amazon allows them to call this crystal when it is plastic.Doesn't fit like quality Maglite products.
