FlatLight, LED Flashlight

It works fine and is small enough to fit in a wallet. Like some others have said, it could be brighter. However, I got the impression that this was meant to be more of an emergency tool than an every day use one. If you drop your keys in a parking lot in the middle of the night, this will be enough to find them.

Neither of the flashlights I received worked. I did promptly get a refund, but no one should order these.

Not very bright, not quite thin enough to stick in a lanyard or wallet. Good try though!

I backed the Kickstarter for the flatlight. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do. It's a flat light that can illuminate somewhat decently and has replaceable batteries. However, there are some flaws to the product in my opinion, which were not evident when I backed this on Kickstarter.1. Everything is held on via some sort of glue. While I understand why they used an adhesive, in the long run I can see the battery compartment slowly peeling off. Which has started to begin on the "front" side of my flat light.2.Overall construction feels flimsy. It's made out of plastic, again understandable as to why. However, I do not feel comfortable keeping it in my pocket/wallet. I'm afraid that it will break or deform. Also, the plastic panels apparently can "fold", causing a crease line. While if one is careful with this product this will not happen, one needs to be careful when changing the battery.3.Overly sensitive button: I tired carrying the flat light around in my every day carry load, however it would turn on in my pocket too easily to be of use when I needed it.4. Price. For $20.00, I feel that it is a bit steep in price for such a niche product. Have I used it successfully? Yes. Worth the time I have used it? Not really. If the price was perhaps $10.00 or even $15.00 I would recommend this to a friend, but overall, I feel that it is heavily overpriced for the reasons stated above.I would enjoy this product if a few revisions were made.-Increase Glue used so that the front panel has no chance of peeling off.-Redesign battery area.-A secure button (lock or something)-A change in price to compensate.I wouldn't mind if the thickness had to be increased X1.5 or even X2.0 to fit these features.EDIT: April 2014-Recently I have begun experiencing issues with the flatlight. This is after a "year" of receiving the product and maybe less than 5 Hours Run time. I have contacted the company and hopefully this is an isolated issue.EDIT: No response. 20 Bucks on a product that lasted maybe a year of use. Not "bad" but also disappointing as I have purchased cheaper things that have lasted longer.

The light is not very bright, it could help if it were very dark. It is handy if you have it in your wallet. It's a lot better than the flashlight you left in the car!

Handy dandy little light. My wife and I keep one by our bed at night so we don't stub our toes on the stationary bike we don't use enough. Works great for that. Plenty light to find the potty yet not blind your partner. Plus takes up no room on the night stand. And the price is great too. Waddaya want for a couple bucks? Works great.

After getting this on Kickstarter, I bought another one as a gift. Couldn't be happier!!! Everyone who sees one loves it.The device is extremely bright and if you are using it for a min here or a min there it will last for weeks! Still curious how long it will run continually. Hopefully more colors are on the way too...
