Review: Works pretty well but know it will stain/darken your teak wood - Used this on a teak shower mat. Definitely turns the teak a golden orange/brown dark color, but I think it makes it look better. In the first picture: the right side is untreated and the left side is with the teak oil on it. It does have a bit of water beading, but not always, depends on how much water hits it and how long the oil has been on it. It also has a potent smell, but I find it pleasant. Hard to explain the smell, but it's sort of a woodsy clean smell, not overly chemical-like. It actually makes the whole bathroom smell woodsy. I really slather this oil on with a paint brush and let it soak in for 30 minutes or so, I don't even bother to wipe it off. But be warned that you do not want to lay any towels on top of it, they will stain them. I do get some molding underneath the teak mat but its underneath so I'm not too worried about it. Twice a year I bring it outside, clean it off and re-apply. Probably be a long time before I need to purchase another bottle.
