Don't waste your money.
I bought this because it was similar to a toy I had for my first dog and I wanted another one like it. Unfortunately I couldn't find the original one. I bought this because it was a way for my puppy to play bite without teaching her to bite me. But the original one, different brand, was made of cloth and not the weird material that this toy and stuffed animals have that is suppose to approximate fur. My 6 pound Shi Tzu tore this up in a very short time. It is poorly made and does not hold together.

Fun Toy - Very Cheaply Made
First the PRO's: Our pug puppy loves playing aggressively with this toy (and a person to operate it)! And it's the only puppet-toy that we've found with a mouth large enough to physically grab your puppy with it. Quite a lot of fun.Now the CON's: This toy is a knock-off of the canvas Bite-Meez and is very cheaply made. The red material in particular shreds almost immediately, leaving big holes in the fabric and exposing your hand. Not a lot of padding here either, so you need to be careful of your hand when it gets accidentally bitten by your dog during play.Given that you can no longer buy the canvas Bite-Meez toy, we have opted to keep this one and reinforce it where necessary to see how long we can make it last. We've had it for a week and are hoping for the best.p.s., We also tried the HuggleHounds Alligator, which is much more highly rated. That one is extremely durable and made for a battle! But it's quite long and pretty unwieldy, tough to get your hand all the way in there. You really need to be laying flat on the ground yourself to operate it like a real alligator. And the mouth doesn't open wide enough to attack or bite, it's just for show. We decided to return it.

Not durable at all...Do Not Mistake for Bite-Meez
I searched for Bite-Meez which was a dog toy made of tough canvas. It was durable for tug of war puppet play. The Barkology showed up instead. Its only a plush toy and not even very made well. It will be torn at the very least the first time you play with it unless you have a sleepy dog. I knew this when i bought it from reading the reviews. I still bought it and used it once and sure enough it tore up quickly. What i needed was the lining so i could sew it into my old Bite-Meez toy. This has worked well and we are playing again!

Fun for dogs but fragile
My beagle loved to play with the toy but it ripped quickly. While the title of the product is "puppet", we rough housed a bit for about 20 minutes until it quickly ripped and the stuffing came out. Unless you plan to entertain your dog with a puppet show, this toy is too fragile for extended play. while we had fun for a while, the cost of the toy and it's short life are the reason for two stars from me

Not the same as the Bite-Meez puppets
While searching for Bite-Meez dog puppets, this product showed up instead. While it's cute and functional, it is not same material and is not near the high quality as the Bite-Meez puppets. I didn't mind paying $20 + for the Bite-Meez brand, but this look-a-like product should cost about half that price. I am definitely missing the Bite-Meez brand of these dog puppets.

Not enough stuffing
There is not enough stuffing for protecting your hand with this puppet. I bought one of these for my last day (about 5 years ago) and it had considerably more stuffing in it which protected your hand from the dog's teeth.

Not What I Was Looking For :(
I returned the item as I felt it was of poor quality and not what I wanted as a interactive play toy for my little Rat Terrier.

I preferred their canvas dog hand puppets as they lasted ...
I preferred their canvas dog hand puppets as they lasted a looonnnggg time. This one didn't even last one hour before my dog had nearly all the stuffing out of it. Not worth the price if you ask me. Bring back the canvas versions of these toys!
