Hi. i bough one of these from you and is this unit compatible with itv hub, bbc iplayer and all four? they don't work on my box.

I have several meecool boxes ..could never get iptv hub to work on them tried over 30 variations of apk..BBC iplayer will work ..all5 will work .and could not get all4 to work also...

It says Google certified box. Does it mean that it gets regular system and security updates from Google?

Yes it means that as well. On top of that it also means it has the original google services like YouTube which you can watch up to 1080p and other services coming from Google. Some android box comes installed with YouTube that is not original and supports 480p content. So this is what it means. Hope this helps!

Can i download an apk player to this?

you mean the BBC Iplayer, no, can not, since bbc has not reached agreement with google, so , this apk currenlty can not download from tv version google playstore, but you can kindly try sideloading, thanks

I have this box. has anyone managed to get it to connect to tp link deco m5 mesh network? it works fine on ethernet but will not connect to mesh wifi.

I had problems with connecting it to Virgin router Wi-Fi. Had to return it box to Amazon, bought Nvidia shield instead. It works like a charm.
