Sec+ 101 labs book
Very helpful practice and guidance with tools and procedure. Will likely purchase other 101 Labs books in the series. Although I did not have this for my CompTia Sec+ preparation, it would have been a solid contributor as a study guide for labs.

Student lab book
I used this lab book for my own Sec+ certification process. I adopted it for my classes going forward i like them so much.

Fantastic!
Practice, practice, practice. This book doesn't just TELL you about theory, it encourages you to actually DO. It takes you by the hand through each step. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Labs But Buggy Instructions
I'm only on my fifth lab. They're fantastic. But I've had to spend hours working through the bugs in the instructions.

Don't buy this - it's free.
The material is fine, it's labs to help practice the principles used in Sec+, but you shouldn't buy this book unless they take away the free access method. At the time of this review, the entire book, every single lab, is available completely free on their website (101labs dot net, click Free Labs in the top right). The formatting on their website is better than in an e-book anyways.

Not categorized and Listed in Order with CompTIA Objectives
Even though this book is decent, unlike other 101 Lab books for CompTIA this is not categorized and listed in order of CompTIA Objectives. There are also errors in the book some command lines are written wrong in the book for instance Evil Twin to access the airgeddon script after you have installed it, it says type ./airgeddon.sh which is wrong. you have to access the airgeddon folder first by typing ./airgeddon then type ./airgeddon.sh. I'm not too satisifed with this book unlike the other ones I had had with 101labs like Network+ and Cisco CCNA.
