Contents not as advertised. Different product manufacturer results in different crispbread. Not Hearty Thick Crispbread.
Agree 100% with other reviewers that state these are NOT the same Kavali Hearty Thick Crispbreads, 5.29 ounce boxes (Pack of 12). Thin, weak and tasteless compared to the originals I still have remaining from a previous order. I would've returned except that I had opened several boxes to see if it was just a packaging error inside, but no. The box is still at 5.25 oz as listed, but they have packed it with enough "very thin" crackers to achieve the same weight.Originally I was so happy to find them on Amazon since I can't find them anywhere locally. Judging by the contents, what a difference with this manufacturer. Though I am admittedly naive to manufacturer's practices, this seems to be fraudulent marketing from this current European manufacturer. They are NOT Hearty Thick Crispbreads. They are NOT the same product regardless of the boxes outside description.The boxes I most recently received state it is a "Product of Germany". The original product states "Product of Norway". Both are distributed by American Marketing Team, Bloomfield, NJ 07003, USA. Maybe this USA distributor could return to the original brand manufactured in Norway? Can Amazon do anything about this switch, such as requesting American Marketing Team to return to the "Product of Norway" in order to continue carrying it at Amazon? Customers want the original crispbread. Fingers crossed!

Repeated Orders
Great product that used to be sold by Sprouts but they stopped carrying it.The crispbread is nutty and delicious and very crunchy.Only 35 calories, no cholesterol, no fillers, very little sodium and zero fat.I was glad I could find it online. Only drawback is "subscription" orders are now only shipped at certain times so one ends up having to buy it individually instead of the subscription method.

I never write reviews but I had to comment. I've bought these crackers for years - LOVED them. I spent nearly 30$ on this package of 12 as I had been doing for some time and this latest order I got is inedible. They completely changed the recipe - they're thin, textureless and tasteless. Why Kavli did this, I have no idea. Awful.

Hard, crunchy texture
Its called Hearty Thick but the actual cracker is thin. It you love gnarly, rough crackers that don't crumble or fall apart when you smear cheese spread on it this is definite the product for you. There is no other cracker that I have tried that has this same hard crunchy texture.

Kavli has changed their Hearty Thick cracker
Kavli has changed their Hearty Thick cracker. It now is thinner and with the texture of their other varieties. Not nearly as appealing. I regret buying two cases of them. I am looking for an alternative from another baker.

Love these crackers. So happy to be able to order them now that Whole Foods no longer carries them.

A perfect compromise between a FinnCrisp and a Wasa
Kavli Hearty Thick maybe my new favorite crisp bread! It is actually more a "medium thick" crisp. More more robust than a FinnCrisp or a Wasa Thin & Crispy, but much thinner than a full sized Wasa or RyeVita. They have a rich rye flavor and hold up well to strongly flavored toppings like kippers or sprats. To top it off, they're yeast free, have no GMO's, and only 30 calories a cracker.
