Great info on Natural Hygeine.
A lot of concepts were not new to me in this book but I’ve been on an health and healing journey for several years. I’ve started having mono meals at least a few time a week. Although different than how he defines it in this book. I believe it to be one fruit at a time not a combination. However I love the idea of doing this periodically throughout the year for week at a time to give digestion a break a clean out lymph.

worthwhile reading
I am pretty well informed, regarding health issues, etc., so I hesitated when this book was highly recommended to me. It was definately worthwhile reading. I learned a few new things, and had some other's confirmed. Go for it...a real "bargain". I even decided to purchase another one for a friend.

Your search for Good Health is over!!
I read the first edition of 'Fit for Life' (FFL) /1985/ back in 1988. I followed the eating designs for 6 months and lost over 40 lbs but kept the weight off for over 3 years. In the meantime 21 years have lapsed and so has my health. I was just diagnosed with the early stages of kidney disease, followed the same outline (but 'FFL A New Beginning' has sooo much better info!) and lost 25 lbs in under 30 days. I'm convinced I can halt any further kidney damage. You can do this too! I highly recommend reading both books, but if you read 'A New Beginning' carefully you should be just fine. There are 7 Stages of Disease before cancer arises. You can stop cancer from happening as long as you catch it in the first 6 stages, once it enters into stage 7 there's not much you can do. All of this accomplished by eating properly, the way God designed the body to function. Just do it! Be warned...this book will shatter every single piece of food advice we ever heard growing up, but it works, I feel great and my energy level is increasing and I'm losing weight. Just be patient and let your body heal itself, you won't regret it. This is the best $12 you'll ever spend in your life! The best $38 a month I spend is sponsoring a child through the christian ministry of Compassion International! [...]

No recipes😞
Unlike the first Fit for Life book that contained great recipes, I expected the updated edition to contain new recipes. There were none at all. Disappointing.

Great info on Vega lifestyle
I bought this book along with a couple of other vegan type “ how to “ books. It is chalked up with tons of information and the science as well. Definitely a book to have in my library to help me stay on track to hopefully beat heart disease, fatty, liver, and diabetes type 2 at age 60!

Sensible nutritional advice
Not another trendy, fitness plan or “diet” but sound advice on how good we eat impacts our well being overall.Offers up an easy to follow way of eating, unless you’re someone who never ate a veggie in your life, it will be an adjustment for you. Overall teaches not only what to eat but when to eat certain foods and in proper combinations to benefit the most from the foods nutrients.
