Edward Gorey Black Doll Plush Figure

Ok, obviously this is not a toy to play with. This is an excellent collectible for every Edward Gorey fan. The back story behind this goes somewhat like, a friend was making a doll for Mr. Gorey and he saw the doll before it was finished and wanted it. No arms and all. He wanted the unfinished doll exactly how it was that day. So he took the doll and a while later, we get a silent screen play about a certain doll.

This doll is my best friend.

Cheap. Don't waste your $$.

I got this doll for Christmas, and it was not only a complete surprise, but it had me squealing with delight. It's perfect for the Gorey fan who's a bit dark in his or her tastes (and aren't we all?) and has a special place where this doll could go. Even the box is sturdy and beautiful!It is actually sturdy enough to play with, unlike some novelty toys. How do I know this? Because I introduced it during an enforced My Little Ponies play session, started by my three-year-old daughter.Note: it is also good for disturbing young children. You have to be able to affect a low, creepy voice, though.

The best part of this is the box, it was oddly done and very expensive for what it is. It should have been done as a plush, it's very uncomfortable to hold and frankly - overpriced. It won an award - for the box. Sad interpretation.
