These (RYA Chart 3 and 4) cover a fictional area located in the Bay of Biscay, and have been created in cooperation with the UK Hydrographics Office. They include a variety of locations spanning two timezones and every imaginable object and situation all packed into two charts. Whether you're doing a course (where these are typically provided), or self-learning, this is the stuff you want so you can follow the exercises or practice plotting on your own.You'll also want the matching training almanac RYA TRAINING ALMANAC NORTHERN HEMISPHERE by RYA ( Author ) ON Jan-01-1900, Paperback, which has the tide tables, secondary ports and tidal stream atlas for these two charts.Also get a good 2B pencil, eraser, set of dividers and the "Handy Chart Plotter". Parallel rulers optional.
