Let me just say that this is a wonderful kite!
I received this kite right before the weekend, and took it out to a park early afternoon with the perfect breeze. Having not flown a kite in quite some time, it was very easy to put together and get it up in the air with just a couple of tries. My kid and I had a blast! We were able to get it flying up in the air with all of the string un-spindled - that is 150 feet in the air!.This is a very well-built kite made with very durable nylon. Much better than those plastic kites I used to try in the past many years ago for about the same price. The hole where you attach the string to the kite is reinforced with a metal ring so there is no fear of the kite ripping away from the string and flying away if a strong gust comes along. Needless to say, I was very surprised with this kite and I recommend this to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive, well-built, and easy to fly kite!

Many nice features, great customer service, needs one tweak and go fly.
This is an excellent kite, the fabric and stitching is also very good and my 5 year old grandson and I had a great time on the first try the only issue I had was that the rods along the front edge can be separated for folding and storage of the kite. However that separation point is a problem because the two pieces do not fit tight and tend to come apart, when handling or if you get a gust or bang into an obstacle. There customer service responds very quickly and offered a full refund, because the kite is well made we instead asked them for a replacement kite, which the sent within 24 hours. we made some modifications so the rods would not separate easily, and went out looking for a windy park

Disappointed. Got this for my 6YO for easter and finally had a chance to get it out today (past the return date, so I can't return it). The side frame keeps falling apart and are about 6 inches shorter than the material that it is supposed to support. If we get it in the air, the frame comes apart and it just spins in circles and crashes into the ground. The material is nice and sturdy, the framing is not. Do not recommend.

assembly difficult
I purchased this kite, because of my purchase of the diamond kite, which is excellent for small children...as that one virtually flies itself. I have not flown this kite yet....so I'll augment my review later. This kite comes with two plastic rods. One is obvious...it keeps the wings spread. The other is a small 7" piece. It goes in the spine of the kite. However, because there are no instructions with the kite, it is not obvious how to get it in the spine of the kite. there is a small area at the base of the kite where you can slip this piece in. However, getting the piece into the pocket is virtually impossible without tearing the pocket apart. After 1/2 hour of tugging, pulling, stretching, i finally got the piece in. There has to be an easier way....but without a guide or online guide at the website 'kite perfect'....it's not easy. Thus, this could be a nice kite....but needs some assembly instruction.

Its a bird. its a plane..It's a man flying a kite in 2017! (I've still got it.)
I don't always fly kites. But when I do, It brings out the kid in me. We bought this kite as an accessory to our trip to myrtle beach. From the results collected from the test-run performed in the backyard, we are a go! 5 Stars for the aero-dynamics. She flies like butter in the sky. Bravo for vibrant colors. They glisten when the sun hits them just right. 1 start shy of a 6 star rating simply because if you're a novice (or havent really assembled a kite in ages) it can be a bit embarrassing. Or maybe that was just my anxiety kicking in. I had an audience of 3.When it was all said and assembled, it was quite simple. A quick instruction memo would've sufficed though. Never the less, Its park season. We're offically prepared.

Was a great iten to bring to the beach!
Strong sturdy flyer at the beach. Small and easy to fly (flies on it's own at the beach), Was so much fun/interesting that i handed it off to several kids to try and even gave to a visiting couple from Germany who'd never flown kites before.

Total disappointment
The inside parts fall apart. The kids get very frustrated, because the kite breaks constantly. I tried to stich the support sticks, but the fabric broke too. Total disappointment
