Easy to clean, easily removed to change batteries
Length good but bags are too wide for most remotes.These cellophane type bags (think CD type cellophane but much stronger) still have to be folded over and taped to fit snugly. Can be used for fan, AC and other remotes as well. Used one for cell phone at the beach. Will have to see how long they last. If you want a sleek, fitted cover, get a silicone cover.

Noisy type of plastic
We bought this for our various remote controls. They are too noisy when we pick up and use the remote die to the plastic crackling. It should be made of a plastic that doesn't make noise. I am looking for different covers because it's too noisy when using the remote.

Much nicer protection for remote controls than zip lock bags.
I ran out of long slender zip lock bags we use to protect our remote controls from dirt and spills. These are nicer as they are totally clear. They fit fine and have a sticky strip to close them eliminating the need for tape.

Neat idea but these are noisy plastic bags.
