CatEyeBM-45 Bar End Bike Mirror, Black

When you buy products from certain manufacturers you just know the product is going to be first rate and work exactly as you expect. This is true of GoPro products for example, and also of CatEye. I once tried a number of other mirrors many years ago but found the perfect view from a CatEye Racing Mirror. It was a little large and I had to channel out some of the mount to enable the mirror to point 'out' instead of 'down' but it has served me well for the last 11 years and I have never ridden since without this mirror. There is still nothing wrong with it but I thought I would upgrade to the smaller BM-45 version as a treat.The BM-45 is about one quarter of the area of the old Racing Mirror, and as such the field of view is a little smaller, but it's crystal clear with a perfect convex mirror. Adjustment of the angle is rudimentary - you simply use brute force to alter the position, but the joint is definitely strong enough to have withstood any battering of a 60mph roof mounted bike in the full force of Storm Ciara.My only issue is that I have quite short bar ends mounted to my bike, and I could just about wrap my fingers past the small connecting bar of the original Racing Mirror, whereas the BM-45 has no bar and is mounted almost flush to its fitting, therefore I am unable to use my bar end on that side. However, I am so happy with the mirror that I have invested in a longer set of bar ends instead.This mini mirror so far has fulfilled all my expectations, and after half an hour of riding I didn't even notice I had swapped over from my original mirror. Every rider should have one of these at least - the benefits of seeing what is creeping up (or speeding up) behind you without taking your eyes from the pot holes littering the road ahead is worth every penny!

Fitted on a flat handlebar hybrid, easy to angle the mirror so you can see approaching traffic or other riders at a glance - small enough to not catch on gate posts - if you manage to knock it off, place the mirror in hot water, then it will pop back on the base with a firm push.

I wanted to be able to see cars coming up behind me, instead of waiting until they sped past (sometimes within inches!) Mirrors on bikes are considered not cool for some reason - so I wanted something discrete that would not protrude too far out from the bars! This little mirror fitted the bill perfectly! A bit on the expensive side (but well made), I was a little skeptical that it would be large enough to be useful? However I need not have worried - the mirror is very clear and is just convex enough to provide a clear view of what is behind! A very useful addition - wish I had got one years ago!

Producto robusto, el montaje es fácil y firme con una llave Allen también suministrada. Coincide con el diámetro del manillar especificado! Recomendación de compra absoluta, ya que el producto no es fácil de encontrar en tiendas a este precio.. Se ve bien los vehículos en carretera, evidentemente ajustas el espejo a una concreta posición en la bicicleta,si circulas tranquilo agarrado a maneras de freno, al ponerte de pie no verás nada por el espejo.. 外れた方へ、諦めないでください。自分はこの方法ではめられました。めっちゃ試行錯誤したけど要は力をうまく玉と穴に掛かればハマります。いるもの・太いマイナスドライバー写真を参考に見てください。穴にマイナスドライバーを刺し、上手く刺さってマイナスドライバーが固定されてガタガタならないことを確認ボール部分を穴の上に置きます左手でマイナスドライバーを持って右手はドライバーの棒の上とかで支えます穴にボールが垂直落下するようにイメージして全体重をドライバーに掛けますすると全体重をかける前にはハマるはずです。お試しあれ！ちなみに買って3日で外れました。曲がらない方向に動かしたせいです。玉と穴の性質を理解してなかった。でも力の入れ加減の問題かなコツがわかったから次回から上手く付き合っていけると思います。商品自体は見やすくて便利！本当に壊れたときはリピートすると思います。
