Plaid Creates Paint by Number Kit (16 by 20-Inch), Song Birds

Adults only. Love making this paint by number. Expect to spend over 100 hours painting and you will need fine line painting brushes. Dental tools come in handy as has a toothpick to help steady my hand. Make sure you purchase a large magnifying light. Love love love Will definitely do another one from Plaid.Update: over 200 hours. Loved every minute!!

As in some PBN’s he color is a bit different than the picture. But Plaid has high quality paints and canvas, and are a joy to do. This one has a lot of small areas, so patience is a virtue!

You better have really good eyes to see all the numbers, lol. I think that paint by numbers could maybe use colored numbers the color of the paint perhaps for ease of painting? I am only partially done but so for it looks pretty good.

Excellent painting. Some numbers very small but doable. Take your time and the results will be very satisfying.

Love the Plaid kits. Small spaces make for a realistic finished product. I did add a few artistic dtails to the finished painting. The most notable changes were the eyes of the birds and the addition of detailed fur branches in the background. I also added red berries to the bottom left for interest and balance.

Beautiful, but very detailed. Takes patience and a magnifying glass. Will love it when finished.

Such a joy to work on. It took about a month but very well paid off in the end. No problems with dried out paint pots, all were in smooth working order. Very minor problem with some of the thinner paints not covering up after two coats, I just back over them again one or two more times. After it was done, it's amazing to see that it was a paint by number.

The picture is just beautiful. Parts are very small just have to take your time.I can't wait to finish it.
