Got these as a stocking stuffer for my husband who likes IPA's he said they compliment the beer nicely since this was a flavor of nuts he normally wouldn't buy. So the company definitely knows it's stuff when pairing the write tastes together. Will buy again!

Great tasting and nice and spicy. Hot but not too hot and is just right. Nice and crunchy too!

These peanuts were fresh and crispy. I am sure they taste great for some people but I just did not like them. My mom did not like the flavor either. My stepdad thought the flavor was ok. Maybe they are more for the manly pallet? Like beer is...? I don't know.They do not have the same crunch that regular peanuts do because they are coated or something. They are more like crispy than crunchy. They aren't really sweet or zesty. I think they taste more like just plain peanuts with just a little season on them. They were not what I expected The picture on the packaging shows like they are more coated than they actually are.I received these peanuts for free in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion and review.

I will admit right off the bat that I did not get these to pair them with beer or any other beverage. I got them because they sounded so unique and interesting, and I'm a foodie -- I absolutely love trying new foods. These Nuts for Drinks Crunchy Peanut Snacks sounded right up my alley. I got the Coffee & Dark Chocolate flavor because those are my 2 favorite things!This particular variety is suggested to be paired with stout style beer, red wine, and brown spirits. While I didn't get these to pair with a beverage as I already stated, I DO like my red wine so I thought "why not?" I got some red wine to sit down and enjoy these nuts. I'm definitely not a pro at what pairs well with what, so I can't comment on whether these nuts did indeed complement the red wine, or vice versa, but I can at least describe the nuts.The flavor is VERY unique, and not what I expected at all. I think I expected to bite into something that had a dark chocolate coating, like a chocolate-covered peanut, since I picked the dark chocolate and coffee variety. It is not like that at all. There is no "chocolate" to be seen, although I suspect that the powder coating on the outside is the cacao, as cacao is listed as an ingredient. So there's a powder (cacao?) on the outside of a crunchy shell that covers the peanut. It reminds me of a honey roasted peanut, but with no sweetness whatsoever. These aren't sweet at all, so don't expect a chocolate-covered peanut like I did. But man are they tasty! I am loving them! They are truly addicting.So while these are different than I was expecting, they are BETTER than I expected. There is nothing else like them that I have seen. Because there is no sweetness and actually a little bitterness to them (coffee & cacao!), children probably wouldn't enjoy them as much as adults -- in my house that's a great thing, as I don't have to worry about my kids stealing them. I'm looking forward to trying the other varieties, which I will definitely be purchasing.If you're into beer or wine pairings, I'm sure you can have a lot of fun with the different varieties of these. These nuts are addicting! Absolutely delicious and the flavor, oh the flavor is amazing! I admit, I thought the 6 oz. bag was not going to be filling but when I opened the bag, the aroma of spices hit my nose. I grabbed a brew and pour a handful of nuts into my hand and wow, these are not your average peanuts. These nuts are huge, like peanuts on steroids!I tried a nut before I took a swig of my brew and wow, the taste is delicious. After a few more I found a delightful sweet heat build at the back of my throat and tongue and so a swig I took and the taste of my beer and the nuts expediently intensified into a need to eat and drink more! I want to emphasize that the spicy/heat factor is one that is a tolerable one so if you think you won't like something "spicy", I urge you to reconsider. My words cannot do justice to the taste of these nuts, especially when paired with beer. All I can tell you is these are flavored to perfection, portioned well and the size of the nuts is astonishing. I am sold and will be trying each and every flavor Nuts for Drinks has created.I highly recommend getting these nuts.
