Thermolab LP53 Slim & Quiet CPU Cooler Intel 1155/1156

Installed in a Sliger550 fine. The screws seem short but you will need to press the metal mounting arms down until you can get the screw initially in place. Overall, i5-9600k at 32 idle, 76 load stock in winter.

The best CPU cooler for the LGA socket that will fit in a DANCASE A4 SFX.

I did not purchase the LP53 on Amazon. However I figured it would be helpful to post a review to help others decide what product is right for them.The LP53 from Thermolab is not often found outside of Korea so I was skeptical at first as I have been using Noctua coolers for years. The  Noctua Low-Profile Quiet CPU Cooler for Intel 115x Based Retail Cooling NH-L9I  has been a favorite among Small Form Factor computer enthusiasts for years. It struggles with CPU's with a TDP greater than 65W though. That is why I decided to try this cooler. Being 100% solid copper it has a greater thermal conductivity than the nickel and aluminum Noctua heatsink. The LP53 is also a bit heavier so it has more metal to actually absorb and dissipate the heat. In a comparison with the NH-L9i, the LP53 averages 6-7C lower CPU temperatures than the Noctua when used to cool an  Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) BX80646I74790K . During synthetic CPU tests the CPU under the Noctua would reach 85-90C, and with the LP53 it rarely passed 80C. In gaming scenarios, the LP53 keeps the 88W i7 CPU around 70C wheres the Noctua would have temperatures peaking around 80C. So, if you have a small PC and a high end CPU I would recommend this cooler if you are struggling to keep temperatures at acceptable levels.

The included fan has 92 mm blades but uses a 80 mm hole pattern. 92 mm fans with a standard hope pattern will need to improvise a mount. Zip ties, coated wire, and even some kids of tape will work to hold a fan in place.As others are saying, this provides the best cooling available for the processors and spaces that it fits. The included fan will work well, if it will fit in your case.
