The new Habanero titanium setback seat posts (aka seatposts) have arrived. The specs: Diameter 27.2mm; Length 350mm; Minimum insertion: 90mm (or, 260mm maximum exposed); Setback 15mm; Material 3Al/2.5V brushed titanium with a VERY solid clamp, unlike most of the no-setback two-bolt ti posts I've seen lately. On this post, you just loosen the clamp, rotate it to where you want it, slide the sadde rails to the correct position, tighten it down and forget about it! Available with or without the habanero pepper decals. Shipped via USPS Priority Mail (two days to most places).

Nice but issues
It's very well made but some issues. First it was a little bigger than 27.2 diameter and I had to sand it down to fit in my frame taking off the nice level markings in the process. Second the seat clamp bolts are too short and dont let you adjust the seat tilt without removing them entirely.

Required longer bolts
Mounting bolts were too short, and needed to be replaced. Welds are ok, but not top notch. Very compliant and comfortable!

Functionality AND Bling.
I bought one of the first of these seat posts, and have been very happy with it. Beyond being a great titanium seat post, the function and appearance of the clamping mechanism is very attractive, and add nice bling to any bike.
