I was given some luggage tags from Cathay Pacific some years ago. These tags have stainless-steel wire cables. At first the luggage tags were just plastic cards and later on, the plastic cards were housed in fitted aluminum card holders. My first batch of plastic luggage tags did not fare well. One was snapped in half and the other had a corner missing after some travel. However, the wire cables held up well. In the past, I have luggage tags missing from my luggage. The failures were mostly on the broken luggage ties. As a result, most of my checked in luggage have 2 luggage tags and one of them is tie with steel wire cable. I have yet to lose any luggage tag with steel wire cables.I have this type of dog tags with my medical information and allergies. I thought this type of dog tags might work better than my regular luggage tags. The dog tag is much smaller. The chances of the dog tag got caught would be less. When I paired that with the stainless-steel wire cable, I have a winning combination.It took some editing but I managed to fit my name, phone number and address on it. I am very happy with the result. I am going put in another order.Footnote: - I edited out personal information on the picture. The dog tags display my information clearly. The stainless-steel cable I used is 1.5mm thick with a 3.5mm screw hole size.

I first feel the need to issue an apology to the seller. I had canceled my initial order as I wanted to make customizations. I then accidentally cancelled my second order. The third though was completed and dogtags arrived promptly. I apologize for the confusion. That's all on me.As to the tags themselves, I had bought these to wear while I'm going on regular morning walks, a sort of "just in case" tag as I walk through my neighborhood. The range of customization options are quite nice and the fact the tags come with the chain and silencers included in the price make these the best set of tags you can buy. Low cost, high quality. An excellent deal.

Good product and fast shipping buuuuuut....The shipper shorted the shipping label, so I had to go to the Post Office and pay the difference to receive my package.😕

The text on these dog tags is very readable, but the rubber silencers cover some letters. If a space is added to the first character of each line, the entire test would be legible with the silencers installed.

Engraving as expected, if you want the full text to be visible even with the silencer, maybe put a space preceding the text. Maybe that'd be ignored by the manufacturers actually but worth a try. Chain broke immediately within taking it out of the package. Had to use different chain.
