Wii Component Video Cable

This is a good componet video cable for connecting the Wii to your HDTV. The cord is sturdy and priced well. After I saw the prices they are charging at Best Buy and Walmart I wondered how people would feel being ripped off not finding cables like this on amazon! The picture quality is a small improvement but every bit helps. This cable reminds me the improvement of the regular yellow video cable vs S-video. Small but noticeable. Yes, if you have a HDTV get this cable. It's the only way the Wii can fit into the HDTV category until Nintendo decides to use HDMI.

I was told to make sure to purchase a Nintendo brand cable. Wii is an older console and I don't play very much so I didn't want to invest a lot of money. It worked just fine. I enjoy playing so much more on the nicer picture on my nicer TV. The cable worked. I don't guess a person could ask for more really.

Decent reviews by 13 people when I purchased it. The other cables on Amazon have fewer and/or poorer ratings. Even the manufacturer one has some bad reviews. Wonder if the Wii is meant to go 480i/p... Video with this cable was worse than the standard cable that came with the Wii. There was also major feedback on the audio. Could be just a bad cable, but who knows. I've asked if I could return it and will stick with the standard cable.

this is a neutral opinion. i love wii but it's graphics are not the best. I guess this cable works as its bests.

I did some reading of reviews on these cables before I bought it. Hard to know who to believe. But I went ahead and purchased this cable rather than spending more money on the name brand ones. The result was that I spent less money and got what I was looking for. For the people who reviewed it and said there was no difference in picture quality I don't believe have the eye to notice. I'm in the graphics/print industry and there is a difference. Picture is sharper if anything. Granted it's only going from 480i to 480p so it's not going to be like night and day, but for 6 bucks or so, I think it's a great purchase.

I wasn't expecting this, the cable really made a difference I liked it. and everything was good, graphics and image!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It works and its very durable but I see little improvement to the picture quality.

The Nintendo wii High Definition component cable is a great value even though the wii can only produce 480p. The cable seems to work great with my plasma tv, and I recommend it for anyone who has a high definition tv because it also frees up the standard video inputs for dvd players, vcrs, etc.
