If you love rock, don't miss out on this.
I am a 50 yo man who has been listening to hard rock since I can remember. It's not too often a band comes along that I feel strongly enough about to write a review. Let's face it, it's just my opinion; but my opinion is these guys are one of the best hard rock bands around. This CD is one of the best CD's to come along in a long time. I have all three of their full length studio CD's and all three of them are masterpieces. I believe this is the best of the three and that these guys are just getting better with each CD. I hope these guys are around for a long time. I sure look forward to listening to their music for years to come. If you love rock, you really should give these guys a chance. I believe you will enjoy this CD as much as I do. As another reviewer put it: THIS CD ROCKS! You can never get too old to Rock & Roll.

This album rocks start to finish
Modern heavy rock/metal with a distinctive sound. The songs have smart lyrics and musically blend classic & modern influences to create a sound that is easily accessible to any fan of heavy music. These guys don't sound like everybody else. There are comparisons made to Nickleback and Black Label Society, but these are only minimally accurate. There are touches of so many things present here that it is obvious that these guys are hardcore metal fans who pay tribute not by copying the sound of the moment or their favorite artists, but by taking it all in and making it new.Looking forward to the next release from this band already.

Bisher das beste Album!
Zum ersten Mal habe ich The New Black Oktober 2009 in Hannover als Vorband zu Dragonforce erlebt. Bis dahin waren sie mir noch völlig unbekannt aber der Auftritt hat mich völlig überzeugt. Man kann die Musik grob ganz gut in die Richtung Heavy Metal / Hard Rock mit Country-Elementen einordnen. Sänger Markus Hammer überzeugt dabei durch seinen rauen, unverwechselbaren Gesang und Mundharmonika-Einlagen. Seit dem Auftritt 2009 verfolge ich die Band regelmäßig und so habe ich mir das neue Album auch kurz nach Release gekauft. Mit 17 Tracks für keine 12 Euro ist man hier ziemlich gut bedient. Zur erfreulichen Abwechslung sind sogar einige akustische Songs mit dabei. Meinen Geschmack hat die Band hier voll getroffen. Reinhören lohnt sich :)

Rock is still alive
Das Album übertrifft klar meine Erwartungen, hab auch die beiden Vorgänger! Ich finde, es ist das gelungenste und rundeste Album ohne dass es zu mainstreamig wird.

Ein neuer Stern am Rock'n'Roll Himmel. Hab sie auch Live auf dem Rock'n'Roll Overdose in Nbg. gesehen, echt dufte TypenJeder Titel geht ab, keine Schwächen !

Wie bereits die beiden Vorgänger, gibt es auch am dritten Album von The New Black absolut nichts zu meckern! III: Cut Loose rockt. Und rockt und rockt und rockt! Ganz groß!

Volle Punktzahl
Bin seit paar Tagen stolzer Besitzer des Albums und hab hohe Erwartungen an dieses gestellt. Bei der guten Vorlage von Album 1&2 wurden diese Erwartungen aber weitaus übertroffen.Mein Tipp für jeden Musikliebhaber und -Kenner: Reinhören, Spaß haben, KAUFEN!Super gut Produziert, da hat sich wohl jede Mühe gelohnt. 5 von 5 Sternen!!!!Klasse Brett, I LIKE
