I enjoyed using it while on vacation. Still have my gopro. Only con i can think of is it was difficult to get the gopro tight enough with the screw to keep the gopro from tilting in the waves. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

Filled with water on my first snorkeling trip with this and sank like a rock when I wasn't holding on to it. Thank god I opted to use the leash that came with it otherwise my GoPro Hero 5 would be at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean right now.

Took this floating handle to a trip in New Zealand and it worked great, It floated and was light and comfortable to hold during many activities.

The unit I received looked normal until I took it swimming (no deeper than a few feet) and then it decided to take on water. I thought it would just trivial air bubbles coming off the handle but when I let it go in shallow water to make sure it floats, it sank straight down. Turns out the seal at the top of the handle wasn't complete so the handle was taking in water as it's just a hollow tube. Amazon was gracious enough to refund my purchase as I wouldn't want to bother with a replacement. If you buy one of these, make sure to test it out in shallow water or you might lose your gopro.

NECCESSARY for any adventurers filming on vacation! Our go-pro dropped 30 feet down, recovered by a scuba-diver luckily, but this will help us for next time:)

It works. Went snorkeling with it. It turned out fine.
