They have lasted through one winter fine, with some condensation having built up inside but no failures yet, so ivm happy to give a 4 star review - I don't know if they could be any more energy efficient than they are, but obviously winter use is probably the most important from a safety point of view, and they aren't able to generate enough power for that from the short time we get sun here!
