new drive belt needed
GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I have a 2002 Toyota Camry that has a rattle noise at idle and during light acceleration after cold soak and noise mostly went away at normal operating temperature. I found online that Toyota has defective belt tensioners and had to be replaced with a modified part form Toyota that also fails, I will not pay that much for a part that has been known to be defective from the get go. I decided to try matter belt tensioner, which helps a lot to take away the rattle but found to have a noise at idle only, I contacted the seller and was advised to replace the belt. I replaced the belt and made sure the belt tensioner was torque to specified torque. I've had it installed over a month now and no rattle or noise from the belt tensioner. It did sound like I needed an engine but found out it was only the belt tensioner thanks google. heres a link to gate belts solutions to the symptoms on my car hopefully it helps a lot of you guy
