Japanese 5pc Sake Set, Spring Blossom

It took a minimum of 7 days but arrived safely. Very pretty just as the picture. Only reason the 1 star is missing is the cups seem very thin. I have had a sake server sitting around the house for about 20years and it has taken quite a bit of abuse. This one is nice and will have to be kept up, I do not believe the cups can handle much more than a dainty go around. Love it and would purchase it again. That's just the reality as I see it.

My boyfriend and I absolutely adore this set. I looked through a lot of sake sets and decided on this one for the design and the price. It looks exactly as pictured. It's obviously not the same size as regular cups or anything. It's tiny and delicate feeling, but I think it'll hold up well. It didn't have a sticker on it as shown, so there was no sticker to peel off or gunk up the design.

Nice one. Good to have something like this.

Now I guess I need to find a boyfriend who enjoys sake, since my husband doesn't care for it. The decanter part made a lovely vase, though, and the little cups have been handy for holding spices and such while cooking. Anyone have any other uses for the set?

This is a very nice sake set. The ceramics and glaze are of very high quality, and the art work is very attractive. The carafe and cups are short and round (vs tall and skinny), which I find very pleasing to look at and hold.The shipping was almost instantaneous, and the set came in a nice little cardboard box with a black finish and some Kanji brushstrokes on the lid.Very happy with this purchase!

This set is super cute. As other reviewers have mentioned the cups are pretty thin, but I bought this as a gift for someone to use as a display. If you are planning on using this as a drinking set, I would get something with thicker cups. Cost Plus has cheap sake sets that are very sturdy. This is great for display though.

I found this item to be very aesthetically pleasing.There is plenty of heft in pitcher as well as cups and the cherry blossom areactually ingrained rather than painted over. I've microwaved sake several timeswithout noticing any ill effects with the set. I would recommend buying this ifyou like an occasional taste of elegance in your life.

Gave it as a gift to my step-mom. When my sister saw it her eyes got as round as pie plates and she joked she may steal it. Nicely weighted carafe and sturdy but delicate feeling cups. Even more beautiful in person than on the web. Thank you... what a great deal!
