So much time...I purchased this because I’m attending classAnd just any personal papers if needed but I thought it be easy to set up but when I was setting it up it actually has no directions to the box so you have to use the buttons on the printer and it doesn’t tell you what buttons to push you have to hold the button for three seconds so I use the wireless button and held it for three seconds and the information which is the I button and it gave me something to help me set up but other than that this was an OK printer it just helps me do exactly what I just need is a quick print the ink I did not enroll into the program but there is a program that they have that you can get the free ink but so far it’s OKI had to have someone come and help me set up the printer she actually had some wireless printers so for her it was a little bit easier but it took her about 15 minutes to complete the test as well me I’m not really a computer savvy so I was not understanding certain things but I was doing everything completely right but it was certain things that she had it that I probably could’ve dead another way but other than that the set up is not as easy as I thought it would be

I had purchase this printer a few weeks back just unbox it. I am not a tech person. This took me almost an hour to get it to work but thanks you tube. Firstly the printer comes with no USB cable or instructions. I have the exact printer different model number. Deskjet 4100 is what I have. Connecting this with your windows 10. Press the wifi button on the printer and Press the Wps on your router. Also download the Hp smart app from the app store. Open that app and press add printer it will search for the printer. Once connected to the internet. Add the printer continue to follow the steps. Hopefully it works.

This was a replacement for a printer that failed (2 year old actions not the printers fault). So far it seems great for the price, but don't expect to print something quickly.

The printer will not link to my WiFi, now I cant even get it to come home on at all. I have no idea who to contact or how to make this right but i hate the printer.

This printer fails at the simple task of reliably printing when you need to print something. To use it, I must power it off, power it back on, launch the app, scan something (to make my PC recognize the printer is connected), and with luck maybe print a few sheets before it goes offline and I need to repeat. I have never had success just trying to print after it has been idle more than about 1/2 hour. Incredibly unreliable. It randomly chooses when to print or refuse to print documents; I have the least number of issues when printing PDF files where I have at least 50% success. Native printing from apps like Word or Excel is closer to 10% success rate. It has a curious failure mode where it can scan with success, but when trying to print it goes "Printer not found", then trying to scan immediately afterwards works. So I can say this printer sucks less as a scanner. Avoid.
