Good Non-OEM Part, included adhesive, pre-assembled frame-glass-LCD unit. Easy to work with.
While not an OEM part (as you can see from the missing "LG" on the part numbers) the new assembly installed without a hitch for me, and everything is working fine afterwards, which is all I can really ask for. If the part shows any issues, I will update this review later. It included all the needed adhesives strips and a couple small tools. I took the advice of other reviews and separately bought better tools (AmazonBasics Smartphone Repair Kit) and adhesive tape (which I did not need). I would suggest you get a metal prying tool to aid the removal of the battery and the snapped case as the plastic spudgers and tools are not sufficient to the task (they bend too easily). You will NOT need a heat gun.I watched several online videos of people performing the same fix and was able to repeat without too much difficulty. You will need to transfer quite a few small parts from the mid frame of the old screen assembly to mid-frame of the new part: Power & Volume buttons, front camera, rear camera, headphone jack, ear speaker & filter, vibrator motor, some insulating tape, and the notification LED (which is easy to overlook, and several "expert" videos failed to transfer, so beware). The pre-installed adhesive worked fine for everything for me, but from other review this seems hit or miss.Shipping was fast and my phone is now whole again.

Can't make phone calls - UPDATE! FIX! PICTURES!
Cracked the screen a couple weeks ago on my 2 month old 5X. Got this as a replacement. Moved everything over *including* the infrared sensor at the top. Phone works fine *except* for phone calls. Every time I try to make a phone call the screen goes black. No sound, nothing. It seems to make the phone call, but I cannot speak, hear or see the menu. As soon as the call ends from the other side the screen comes back as if everything is ok.I will be contacting the seller to see about a replacement or reimbursement.Update: So I had the same issue as several people on here and I honestly thought I had moved every single tiny piece over. I literally took everything apart twice more to figure out what was wrong. FINALLY I found what they were talking about. It is a tiny black piece *UNDER* a piece of sticky stuff. I am including pictures.

it's good but not flawless, which makes it hard to rule out as a problem if things go wrong
i am probably biased because i did not enjoy performing this repair - cellphones are about where laptops were 10 years ago in terms of repairability. good parts: it works and they included the sticky tape pre-attached for most of the parts. bad parts: the sticky tape was generally poorly applied and the main ribbon cable for the lcd did not quite align how it originally did. the original was glued into position, while the replacement one was not glued and tended to be in a position where there was some wrong overlap. i'm not sure if that was a problem or not but it was hard to rule out when i did have a problem - the phone is slightly thicker near the headphone jack than it used to be. it also did not get cell reception. i more or less solved this problem by pushing very very hard on the back of the phone where it seemed to be bulging, and now sometimes i get cell reception (sometimes i do not *sigh*)

Screen is good, tools are bad
Pro:This product did the job well. With the help of a couple Youtube guides I was able to replace my cracked screen in just over an hour. Installation was easy, and the glue is pre-applied in all the places you'll need it.Con:The tools that come with the screen are low quality. The plastic peeling tool was too thick to be useful anywhere (I used my own), the flathead and star screwdrivers are completely unnecessary, and the guitar pick was too thick to be useful (I used my own). Moreover, I found other sites where the screen & digitalizer is offered for $40, so it turns out that I'm effectively paying $15 for these crummy tools. In short: this product does what it claims to do effectively, but if you have the opportunity to purchase the kit without the tools you should do that.

Very satisfied with this screen!
I managed to install this screen in under an hour with the help of a youtube video, and had no issues. The provided tool kit worked well although I did substitute one of my own guitar picks. Having the entire assembly available is absolutely worth the extra money - removing the glass from the housing is something I do not want to attempt. I can't tell a difference in screen brightness or quality. The phone tester app does show that this screen is 1080x1724 pixels at 421 dpi. If I had not checked I would not have noticed, and my vernier calipers confirm that the screens are both 5.23" diagonal.A few precautions during installation:Remember to transfer over all the parts from the old housing before you install this, including: buttons, vibration unit, speaker, headphone jack, and camera. (I may be forgetting one or two)Be careful when you pry the upper speaker away from the old housing. I accidentally separated it into three pieces.. and I'm very fortunate that it still works. Slip the flathead under the ribbon connector to pry this up.

It would be nice if it came with a few of those pieces ...
The display works well despite a few small slightly discolored regions. Installation is a bit of a hassle as you have to move some very small bits from the original display to the replacement. It would be nice if it came with a few of those pieces already installed. The biggest deficiency I've experienced is that there is no diffuser for the notification LED so it's a very bright point light source. I couldn't see any way to replace the diffuser without destroying the speaker grill thing. Overall not a big deal and I only notice it when I'm in a dark room and get a text.
