Infinitely better than Waterdrop's other filtered pitcher models!
I purchased this during a sale to replace our older Waterdrop pitcher which was the Chubby model. The Chubby pitcher was decent, but it had several design flaws that prevented it from being what could have been an otherwise perfect pitcher. This new pitcher absolutely blows Waterdrop's other pitchers... out of the water... 😏 Build quality is perfect with this new pitcher, although the quality of Waterdrop pitchers has never really been an issue for us. Everything is nice and sturdy, and the carry handle is rock-solid. I've had pitchers with flimsy handles that made me absolutely stressed-out to pick up when they had a high volume of water weighing it down. That's absolutely not an issue with this pitcher and we feel comfortable carrying a full pitcher using only the handle without having to support it from the bottom. What really makes this better than Waterdrop's previous pitchers is it's redesigned top cover and flip-up lid for refilling. The new top cover attaches firmly onto the base and eliminates the previous need to hold it in-place while pouring at steep angles. My favorite part about the entire pitcher is new flip-up lid when it's time for a refill. I can't tell you how many times the spring-loaded "touchless" lid on the Chubby pitcher ended up creating a pool of water to clean up. This was due to the way it accumulated water on the sides of the lid when going to refill it. All the excess water created a tighter seal around the top cover that made it resistant to the force of our sink's water pressure. The lid now has to be manually opened in order to fill up the filter's reservoir which keeps everything nice and dry. The other pitchers we owned also seemed to have issues properly sealing the Waterdrop filters into the filling portion of the reservoirs. The new reservoir gives a much better seal around the filter and we noticed that water flows out much more efficiently than before. This is what Waterdrop pitchers SHOULD be like. We tolerated the numerous pitcher issues for quite a long time, but stuck with Waterdrop for the quality and taste of the filtered water they produce. Because despite all the frustration we had, the one thing that was consistently positive was the high-quality and great tasting water that Waterdrop's filters make. Now we don't have to compromise build quality just to get it.

Great gift!
Got this for a friend and she loves it. She reports the waters tastes great and the pitcher is well made. She also notes that it filters faster than any she has tried before. Great gift!

I feel better than the "other" brand!
This water pitcher is amazing! I was a bit hesitant, but it has surpassed every expectation I had. Cheaper than the "other " brand, and the water filters more quickly, and it tastes so good. This is the perfect size for me (I live alone) , and the filters last a long time, and let you know when they need to be replaced.

Great but
I have the smart indicator and for some odd reason it no longer works. It's great for filtering water but I change the filter now by a calendar.

Another Filtered Response
This is my first water filter pitcher. I spent many hours watching review videos and reading websites as I didn't want to make a mistake with my order. I had pretty good water until my landlord switched my supply line and then I had nasty smelling water. It smells like an old rubber hose mixed with motor oil until I waste gallons running the water to lessen the smell. I tried bottled water even as much as I hate the plastic waste. I don't mind the 1 gallon jugs as they can be refilled, but since I only use an electric bicycle for my transportation, space is at a premium when I go grocery shopping. I will make a refill run later as I like having backup water on hand. The plastic waste of bottled water got to me after 2-32 packs and 1-24 pack (yeah there is a difference between Spring and Filtered water, but very small vs the cost difference), so I needed a better solution. Hello Amazon.com which is my favorite store and to research products. Wow! There are many water filter pitchers to choose from, but which one is right for me? I figured I should start with a 10 cup model, which turned out to be the best size for me. I narrowed my picks down to Amazon Basic, WaterDrop and ZeroWater. I liked Amazon Basic's low price, but the short lasting filter means more plastic waste, more often. ZeroWater looked good too until I read two reviews about fishy smelling water. I already have nasty smelling water, why risk having fishy smelling water? There were mostly positive reviews, but knowing my luck I would get stuck with the fishy water. I would have risked it had there not been a good 3rd choice. I bought WaterDrop as they had mostly positive reviews (a product with only positive reviews make me skeptical that any are real) and they make a variety of water filter products all with mostly positive reviews. I like the flip open top as it makes refills easy. After following the instructions, I tested a glass of water and I was so happy. No more nasty tasting water. Granted, it isn't as nice as spring water, but it is sweet enough for me. WaterDrop does make an alkaline filter I may try, though right now I am leaning towards marketing hype about alkaline water. I know some aquarium fish like alkaline water. Maybe I would too.

Terrific item, superlative customer service
I've been using two Waterdrop pitchers for quite some time now, and they continue to do exactly what they're supposed to. They're well-made, well designed, and look very stylish too (they have a modern, mid-century vibe). The filters are not cheap (good filters generally are not) but they work very well; and when you consider the cost saving over buying filtered water, they're really not that bad. I have two different sized pitchers, and the same filter fits both of them. They have a filter replacement indicator which is very useful. It doesn't sample the water, so as far as I can tell it's an inclinometer that basically monitors how many times you tilt the pitcher. This isn't a perfect solution, but it's pretty useful in terms of reminding you to change the filter at the correct time. I had an issue with the filter replacement indicators, and Waterdrop couldn't have been more helpful. All I really wanted was a couple of replacement indicators - they're a small unit with an LED light and they clip into the pitcher lid. As I'd owned the pitchers for a few years I didn't expect Waterdrop to replace the pitchers with new ones but that's exactly what they did, and they were happy to do so. Their customer support staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. It's easy for a company to be your best friend when everything is going well: the true measure of their worth is how they behave when something goes wrong, or breaks. Waterdrop showed me that they stand behind their products and truly value their customers. Wouldn't it be nice if much bigger corporations were to adopt a similar attitude (AT&T comes to mind, but there are countless others)! So my recommendation: if you're looking for a stylish, well-made filter pitcher with good filters and backed by incredibly good customer service, look no further. You've found it.

Anna Went Above and Beyond
We love this system, we have tried many and this one is the best by far. The one and only issue we have had in 3 years is with the indicator light; it just starting blinking blue and nothing we tried would stop it. I called Waterdrop customer care and spoke with Anna who was extremely kind and very helpful. As it turned out, that part was not currently available so she sent us a brand new pitcher instead! Anna was excellent at her job and provided me with exceptional customer service! Thanks so much Anna!!

Great product!!
I used to buy the three gallon bottled filtered/spring water, but the price went up. Because of the price increase, I researched the most economic way of buying filtered water. I can across this brand and its competitors. I decided to go with this product because of the reviews. I found that the filtration system does an excellent job of removing contaminants. The water tastes great and the quality of the pitcher is well-made.
