Is this reality... or the matrix.
This is a cheaply priced chair that is functional for gaming and it looks cool. If youre a nerd living in your moms basement and you have no real connection with the outside world or reality then this chair will bring you back. Thanks to its ergonomic design you can now live both realities, the one in video game land and the other in earth land. No more distorting reality and getting lost or confused. This chair is the chair to repair all mental and cognitive disconnects due to excessive gaming. One man played on this chair for 700 straights hours with no sleep, once he finally got up to take a nap he immediately realized he wasn't in the video game anymore and even said hi to his mother. No more worrying exhausting trips to the restroom when you have this chair because it comes with built in wheels so you can scoot across the floor. If you're talented enough you dont even have to stand to use the restroom (males only in this instance) once done you can wheel yourself back to your computer and faster for another 700 hours. Overall, I would reccomend.

We figured out how to make it recline!
Easy to put together all by myself. We also figured out the recline problem. So you have to loosen the knob under the front of the seat then the handle that you use to raise and lower the seat also move in and out. It shows lock with and arrow pull away from the chair away from the lock position to the side that says free and then you can recline! My husband's first comment when he sat was seriously it doesn't recline and started messing around and we figured it out and now he loves it!

Updated review!
So, my chair shipped with no instructions... I'm not a complete moron, so laying the parts out, it was fairly self explanatory what goes where. However, if you are someone who needs instructions to assemble something, be aware, you may or may not get them with this chair.Assembly: Again, fairly straight forward, assuming you can spatially orient yourself, easy peasy. At least until you try screwing the bolts into place. There are 12 bolts you need to install for this chair to be assembled into set bases (4 for bottom plate, 2 on each side for arms to attach to base, two on each side of the backrest). 8 of mine needed work. The threading was obstructed by the leather material, or you could see where foam padding was jammed into the threaded opening. Long story short, expect to spend time clearing the threaded points out, or be prepared to feel like you are cross threading every bolt. 8 of mine needed clearing/threading (thank god for thread taps).Support: It's brand new, so out of the box, it's very comfortable. Very supportive. There is no adjustments on this chair, so how they built/designed it, is how you'll sit in it. If you have back issues, or lumbar needs, this may nor may not suit your requirements. The material doesn't feel super robust, I expect the covering to last a year or less if you use the chair with any regularity.Use as far as gaming: it's a highbacked computer desk chair. I sit at my desk for long periods either in CAD or word processing, so for me, something with a higher backrest makes the day a lot easier. At the end of the day, I bought a high backed office chair for less than $100. You can't have overly high expectations when you do that. It's on the lowest end, but it's basically within my expectations of a $100 chair.EDITED SEPT 15: so I've been using this chair for a while now. I can definitely tell I got a $100 chair. The arm rests are already getting loose (non adjustable) and I can feel the base rocking around where it didn't before. This chair is rated to 250 and I'm pushing that at 265. So... If you are tall and need a heavy duty chair, this will not suit your long term needs. I was hoping to get another year or so out of this unit (short term solution... I have a cat that likes to claw things... Don't wanna buy a good chair until I don't have to worry about claw marks). I would probably not purchase this chair again, knowing how short a time it would actually hold up.

Great chair, would recommend to those on a budget.
For the price, I cannot complain. Assembly was easy enough and quality is sound.145lbs and been using this for about 2 months now. Stitching is holding tight, and the chair is very comfortable during longer sessions.Pros:- Comfortable- Affordable- Lifting arm restsCons:- Casters are small and don't roll well over my carpet (which is not thick or tall by any means). I would recommend getting new wheels if you need to.- Chair does not lock in the reclined position- The lift and drop is not very high or low, I find myself wishing it raised a bit higher when playing my piano.- The red parts are made of a mesh-like material and can be irritating when it's hot out.Overall, the cons are not enough to keep me from recommending the chair, especially at this price. It looks and feels great.

not so nice - failed after 1 year
An update: Dropped to 2 stars. The front of the chair is low and not adjustable. After 1 year of use, the cylinder leaks down, the leather is cracked and flaking, the chair wobbles side-to-side. I have about 18 month's use and it is ready for the dumpster.Previous: I paid $80 for the chair and was very happy with the quality of the chair. The assembly sheet stuck to the packaging, so it was a gamer's delight assembling the chair. The parts package (in shrink wrap) lists where each screw is placed and is instruction enough to assemble. The chair is as comfortable as my work chair, priced at $700.
