WELSO Foot Drop Splint (XLarge -Left)

This product is great, so long as the shoe you are using has extra room to accommodate the additional size of the orthotic. I tried to use the product in my day-to-day loafers and it was extremely difficult to get the orthotic in the shoe and then my foot would go numb from the pressure. I ended up buying a cheap pair of shoes that were a half size bigger and it accommodates the orthotic perfect. In my half-size too big shoes the orthotic works very well and prevents foot drop as expected.I used a heat gun and cardboard box cutter to trim around the orthotic and make getting in the shoe easier. It helped, but can create sharp/rough areas that are rough on the shoe. I tried to use heat gun to add arch-support and it was not possible. Easy to trim, but don't expect "custom" orthotics.

I wear a women's size 8 shoe & ordered the size large. It fits good but it's a tad wide for my current athletic shoes so I will have to trim it a little to make it not so wide. Have only worn it for two days but so far it feels great!!!!

Helps but not comfortable

This works great for my drop foot. I had to add a insole to it. and cut a sock in half and wrap it around the heel of the splint.

Didn't find this helpful, as it wouldn't fit into any pair of shoes I owned, even after significant trimming. Not suitable for wearing without a shoe.

It's flimsy.

It's not very comfortable at all. Had to trim a lot off just to fit in a shoe. And the top strap is itchy.

Love it I can continue to work
