La Bonne Vie Brie - 2 LB (2 pound)

Beautiful Brie. So delicious w/ jam on toasty bread slices. I can live on this. I love it w/ elderberry jam & thinly sliced toasted French bread. Of course it's also good w/ fruit & other cheeses crackers, any of the traditional tastes but out of this world w/ jam & fresh toasted breads.

its a passable Brie .. not the very best but neither at very best price point good enuf for use

La Bonne Vie Cheese - This is a great Brie for all levels of cheese lovers!

I am writing this review because I am very surprised by the positive reviews this cheese is getting. I am British, and have spent plenty of time in France. I know what the general taste of brie style cheese. Reasonable brie is not particularly hard to find in US supermarkets. Some months ago, I purchased a box of this brie and thought it tasteless. Having failed to find any of the varieties, of brie, that I usually buy, I was silly enough to give this cheese another's go. This brand of brie style cheese is, without a doubt, the worst I have ever tasted.I did not buy either box via Amazon and would not have written this review had I not been so disgusted by this company selling as French style cheeses (their camembert is just as tasteless as their brie).

Excellent product. Well worth the purchase. I would recommend this item to anyone.
