NEVER again will I use regular bulbs. LED ALL THE WAY
This is out third set of LED headlights, not for the same car either. Put in one car and really liked them. Put them in our SUV and again they work better than expected. Now I put them into my work truck and still happy with my purchase

Great for Hi beams
This replaced my aging HIDs. Don't get me wrong, my old lights still worked. I just got tired of the "warm up" and essentially lost function of "flashing my high beams."I've been looking at upgrading all the lights on my truck for 2 years now, the technology has definitely improved as well as the price. I purchase the 9005 set and thus far I'm quite pleased. I've included some side-by-side pics to show the comparison of my old (passenger side) vs these.Aside from the instant on (a huge benefit to me) these are bright. In factory housings they do have a bit more scatter than the HDs, but in the high beam hosing this isn't much of an issue, the brightness seems brighter than my 552 HIDs, and the color seems on par with the advertised 6000k.The only caution I would have is this: be mindful of the space being your lights (see last pic of cramped space). These utilize metal heat dissipating "fins," and need to be fanned out for optimal heat offload. So far these lights don't seem to get that hot even after 15 mins. However, if you have cramped space with lots of plastic around....these might not be for you.I received these at a discount for a fair and unbiased review. Bottom line, I'd purchase again.

Works well as a high beam light. Be prepared to use some brute force to fit the ancillary in a Hyundai Santafe sport enclosure.
The product comes with decent packaging as well as an instruction guide for assembly. I ordered the H7 for my Hyundai SantaFe sport high beam lights. At first the driver/power supply unit seemed to big to fit in the enclosure but then after an hour's worth of brute forcing I was able to get all the connections tightly packed in there and close the dust cap, no drilling required (hopefully heat build up on the high beam is not significant to cause any damage). As for the lights themselves, they seem to be robust in construction and bright with a good range for the high beam based on my initial evaluation. Even though these units don't seem to have an external fan there is a fan like noise that comes out of the unit when switched on so I'm guessing there is a smaller internal fan and the external fins are there to further help with heat dissipation. The LEDs claim to be Philips LEDs which are superior to the CREE or other LED lights, my low beams are another brand's COB chips and looking at the picture the Philips LEDs definitely do seem to have a brighter, more intense light (the low beams do have projector housings though). As can be see from the pictures, it's definitely a big upgrade when compared to the stock halogens. Only drawback would be the size of the driver unit or even the requirement to have one, that would've made the the install a whole lot easier.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
