I feel the need to clarify a few things I've read in other reviews. First off, copper is a terrible insulator. Copper is instead an excellent conductor. This means that the instant ice, vodka, and ginger beer hit the cup, it becomes the same temperature as the liquid being poured. This also means that while your cup sits in direct sunlight, it transfers the energy it absorbs into your beverage. This isn't a bad characteristic, it's entirely enjoyable to have an ice cold mug against your lips as you sip on a cocktail on a warm summer day. However, if you're expecting to have an ice cold drink for hours after its creation, you'll be disappointed. Condensation on the mug is a huge identifier of the LACK of insulation offered by its copper construction.Copper does react naturally to what you put inside it. It enhances flavors and aids in the re-creation of a cocktail you've tried at the local hot spot.The hammered look and hand soldered handles are aesthetically pleasing. If you're looking for truly hand crafted mugs, look elsewhere. It is obvious that the entirely of the mug was not created by a human hand. That being said, they look great and have consistency that wouldn't be possible for the most skilled craftsman. Some things are worth the saved effort. I need to purchase 12 of these for a party. They were very nice for the price. A few o f the 12 had a blemish or two but with regular use, they will all have one! LOL! They came very well wrapped and in a nice plain white box that you could wrap if you are giving them as a gift. The weight is fine, I've used heavier ones that I liked better, but these are not super thin or light. Again, for the price, they made a great addition to the party.

Solid copper, inside & out, including the handles. Beautiful finish that will only get better with time & use. Keeps my Moscow Mule icy cold from start to finish. The only thing that could ever make this purchase better is if it came with a litre of vodka, a case of Barritt's Ginger Beer & a bag o' limes.

Not perfect, but nice. Inside had some spots but as I am not a perfectionist, these are fine and I'm sure will function well! Really like the hammered look

I purchased these as a gift for my bf. 2 of the cups arrived with large dents in them (that weren't supposed to be there). Not worth returning. All in all, good product for the price and my bf loves them!

Following up on my last review posted Dec 6, 2016, I would like to mention the excellent customer service Hagestad team provided. They followed up to replace the defective mugs free of charge with brand new mugs . The replacement are spot on in terms of quality and finish.Thanks.

Love the set, but 1 cup had the packing tissue stuck to the bottom and sides, and has horrible discoloration that won't come off without damaging the product...disappointed 1 is ruining the set!!!

Very satisfied with the mugs. They appear to be exactly what was advertised! I would order again for a gift.
