I purchased this backpack for our trip to Florida hoping it could double as my purse and diaper bag for travel and our day trips to Disney World and the Tampa Zoo. This backpack did not disappoint. It is a great size and lightweight, yet it has a ton of room to hold everything we need. I use the front pocket for my wallet, keys, and phone. In the main pocket, I was able to fit 12 diapers (more than I usually carry, but for travel I wanted to be overprepared), a regular pack of wipes, two bags of snacks, my daughter's iPad Mini in a larger kid case, a wooden peg puzzle, two board books and her travel size Magna Doodle. The main pocket is divided, so I put the diapers/wipes on one side and everything else on the other side. My Camelbak Eddy water bottle fits great in either of the two side pockets and I've never had any issues with it falling out. For travel, I also clipped my daughter's water bottle to the side pocket using the clip strap and put her small Minnie Mouse doll in the other side pocket. Lastly, I put a change of clothes for my daughter in the small pocket on the back of the pack. As you can see, this pack holds a TON of stuff!! Even with all these things, the straps are very comfortable and it never hurt my back or shoulders. The zippers work very well--my only complaint is that the front pocket only has a single zipper which is kind of inconvenient if you're trying to open it one handed. Definitely a minor complaint compared to how much I love this pack. The design is bright and vibrant and I love the colors!! I was kind of concerned about the 'Rio 2016' embroidery, but it's hardly noticible at all. Overall, I really love this backpack for travel or everyday use!!

Smaller than I expected but very colorful!

I wish the design were as shown. It is somewhat different on my bag.

Headline: Nice kid size bagI was looking to replace my Sketcher's shopping bag to carry my smaller kites and accessories. This bag was a little smaller than I hoped (see picture to compare the size with a shopping bag from Sketcher's), but it was able to fit everything I needed it to. When the description said "20L" it's hard for me to understand what that will hold, so the photo below shows everything that fit in the bag. There was almost no room left over, and it was snug, but it all fit fine. 3 various spools/hoops of string, 2 large winders, 1 octopus kite, 1 small para-foil, 1 stowaway para-foil, a multi-tool, and 2 gloves.Good Points:Bright and colorful, just like the pictures (I have the Rio version)Zippers worked wellFront pocket will hold things like car keys (there is a special clip for keys), wallet, phone, pens, etc.Side pockets will hold a small umbrella and a small water bottle. Kid size, remember.Main area had a padded pocket for electronics.It might hold the smallest of laptops, but any laptop I've ever owned would not fit.Be Warned (Every good review should have a few cons to it):It's a bit small for adults, or kids that would need a lot of books for schoolIt may be water resistant in the rain for a bit or splashes, but don't even think it will hold up with much more than thatThere is mostly single stitching, longevity under heavy use is questionableThe straps do indeed allow the backpack to expand (It'd be way too small if it didn't) but they are rather thin and not meant for heavy useRecommend?: 4-stars over all. For me, this is next to perfect.
