Great book!
Great book for teaching science to kids and learning about God's creation.

Not for the ages listed in description.
Not what I was looking for. These are basically object lessons. And in my opinion, there are several where the biblical lesson is really a stretch as to how it applies to the science experiment. For example, one of the lessons in the magnetism section is an experiment in which you create an electromagnet with a battery, copper wire, and rubber band. But in the biblical application, it reads, “The temporary state of electro magnetization can resemble our world at points in history. There have always been times where the spirit of God was more present and active than during others, and people have called them ‘magnetic times’” and then in the next paragraph goes on to say, “our world appears to be in a very dull spiritual time in history; not very magnetic.” And sums it up later by saying some day Jesus will draw all of us into him, just like those paper clips to the magnet.I may use this book only for the short experiments and only to explain the science behind it. We have a 6 and 7 year old, and I think they may find a lot of these a little elementary. Most of them look like they’d take only about 5 minutes to complete. The description says ages 4-12. If I’m only evaluating the science aspect, I’d say ages 4-6.
