Black is preferable to the OEM "whitish" plugs that stick out like a sore thumb when the doors are open. Easy to install and remove if needed. Quality appears to be very good. They stay put after installation.

**Q: I have brass frame chairs that have 2 plugs on the top where the back of the seat rests between. Will this fit? Can't seem to find any brass plugs.**
A: These are for sheet metal holes and will probably not work on applications to plug tube openings.

**Q: What are the tolerances for this part?**
A: These plugs are made to snap into a 1” hole in sheet metal the dimension of the piece that snaps through the metal is 1.015” the head outside diameter is 1.38” and the overall height is .25”  I have found that the tolerances are plus or minus .020” they vary by temperature as well.

**Q: With this plug work to plug a hole on a above ground doughboy swimming pool, can it be sealed to prevent leakage?**
A: I am not exactly sure what a doughboy swimming pool is but they can be sealed into place to protect the liner on the inside of a metal pool. If you are plugging a 1 inch hole. I would ask your pool manufacturer what they recommend for best results.

**Q: 1" inside diameter or 1" outside????  Seems as though there are mixed answers**
A: The plug is made to snap into a 1 inch hole in sheet metal up to .090 thick. It’s overall diameter is around 1 1/4” to the edge of the flange.
