Beware! They'll scam you on the pricing!
Just writing to let people know I had an atrocious customer service experience with Impact Crates. I bought a crate from them at 20% off and two days later they offered the exact same crate at 30% off. I reached out to customer service and requested a price adjustment, but they refused. I asked if I could return it but they also charge a 10% restocking fee and they make you pay for return shipping. My advice, never buy from them directly. They stack their pricing and sales to scam as much money from you as possible. These crates are so expensive that a 20% and 30% discount difference is significant, nearly a $100 difference. Very disappointed in this experience. I won't be buying from them again. If you must have an impact crate, stick to buying used.

Best $600 we've spent on a dog!
This purchase has been a life saver (the dog's) and even though it was the most money we've ever spent on a kennel, it's been a money saver too. Two months of cleaning up the house every time we left was driving us crazy. We've used this for 1 month so far, and his first time in the kennel changed our lives. Our dog has severe separation anxiety and would destroy anything he could get his mouth on the moment we stepped outside. He totally demolished two other kennels at $100 each and pooped all over the house. He has accepted the kennel as his "bed" and goes in on his own when he needs a little personal/alone time. He has not made a dent in this kennel and it has been able to withstand a 60 lb. red tornado that is our dog. We got this kennel in size large, color tan and it looks great in the house and isn't really any bigger than it needs to be. Dimensions are 35.5Lx28.5Tx25.5W and fits our guy perfect he even could be a little bigger and I wouldn't feel like he was cramped.Putting this thing together was A LOT! It took almost 3 hours for me and the rails were tricky to say the least. Some of the screw holes didn't line up well, but I had read that in other reviews. I was ready for this with a drill and just made a little wiggle room in the few holes that I had trouble with. I am glad that I had read the other reviews and just accepted the reality of needing a drill. Having two people to put it together is recommended as it would have made it tons easier, but I was impatient and didn't want to wait till my partner got home.Recap: Absolutely worth never having to buy another kennel or having anything else destroyed. I would recommend this to anyone who has a destructo dog and is tired of cleaning up after an indoor catastrophe.

My dog can't escape this or destroy it and I ...
My dog can't escape this or destroy it and I can't imagine one who could. But it was a bear to put together, even with two engineers working for over an hour. I suggest an awl or similar tool to help you align the holes. Even when you have all the corners together, the holes don't line up naturally. The company was responsive to my requests for help.

overpriced junk
Bought this expensive crate after reading reviews and company’s description. My dog broke out the crate twice even when the crate was locked. The worse part the company has ZERO customer service! Can’t call them for help or questions about the warranty they offer. You can only text or email and they don’t respond. Don’t waste your hard earned money with this company. This company has the worst customer service I ever seen. No phone number to call, only text and email. They never responded to texts or emails about warranty issues. They state they have a warranty but don’t. Bought the over priced bed/pad for the crate and only lasted one hour. Texted the company and they advised it’s not indestructible and they recommend a rubber horse mat. Really!!!!! $50 horse mat and not your $300 bed.

Too Expensive Too Complicated
This does what it's made to do. Unfortuately companies like this know that requirements for shipping a "dangerous" dog breed like pit bulls and German Shepards require an INCREDIBLY specific dog crate. They charge an insane amount for crates that fit the airline requirements because they know as dog owners who need to get our beloved dogs to another city, we must buy these. It's frustrating to say the least. This crate is fine when put together. The only reason I gave it two stars is that putting it together took me around 6 hours. The directions are VERY sparse. It's heavy, cumbersome, complicated, and like an ikea bed not all the pieces fit perfectly and I had to leave some screws out.

It's OK, but not nearly as strong as I expected it to be for the price.
I honestly thought for this price that the crate would be much 'sturdier' than the thin sheet metal it is made from on the tops and sides. The door side is a little more robust, but my 50 pound shelter mix has already done damage to it. Thankfully she hasn't escaped yet in the 2 days we have been using it and I am PRAYING that she will not find a way to escape. Otherwise, I will come back and rate it much lower...
