very comfortable. Sitting in a chair (because I am short
I purchased the S'port Nada Chair because I am petite; barely 5 feet tall, 100 pounds. I am a second career nursing student, which means I spend many hours with my books and computer studying. This semester I began to have increasing back pain. I searched for ergonomical office chairs for the petite person. I am not spending $900 on an office chair for my computer; at least right now I cannot.I began searching for alternatives and wasn't having any luck. Somehow I ended up on a webpage promoting a product similar to this brand. Reading the reviews many people were complaining that that product was just a rip-off of Nada. So I found the Nada products and said why not. While I must say it looks a little silly to be strapped in, it is very, very comfortable. Sitting in a chair (because I am short, I can't sit with my back to the back of the chair), it forces me to sit upright. Best thing..........since I have begun using it I have no back pain!!!

Saved my back.
I went to the Rose Parade in CA and knew that we would have bleacher seats - without a back rest. This Nada Chair really saved my back by bracing my lower back and keeping my spine in line. I also used a seat cushion, so all together I was pretty comfortable for about 3 hours.

I have an original one of these that has way better elastics, materials and stitching
Cheaply made--probably Chinese copy. I have an original one of these that has way better elastics, materials and stitching. Not worth buying at any price.

ok for some people
I can envision this being very useful for some people. For me, I couldn't maintain it because the pressure was too much as it kind of dug into my skin (I'm heavy). So best for thin people, I'd say.

Works great
Works great. Kept me comfortable during an 18 hour flight. I would alternate with and without it during the trip. Sometimes it gets tangled, but otherwise, really is useful, even when working at your desk.

most comfortable instant chair for sport watching, gaming, music venues, back support during long flights
I saw one of these on someone at a music venue...Its awesome for sitting on the ground...you know how you have to sit on the ground at some concert venues and you can't lean up against anything so you want to lay down, there is no room, you just bear it or bring along a cumbersome chair to carry around or a huge blanket so you CAN lay down with places that have room...but then you can't see because you are laying down? I thought it couldn't be comfortable, but then everyone in the group traded it out and ooed and ahhd...and loved it. Apparently, it really was.Well, now that I got one for hiking trips (easy carry, folds into a carry pouch, super light), let me say, I ooh and ahh...it's crazy how useful it is that you don't think about. I actually got it only for hiking...for when we stop alongside a cliff or to picnic, to have an instant chair in a pack. I really thought I'd use it only for that until I put it on. And by "put it on" I mean, just slip in on my knees while I'm sitting down. Granted, this says it's a sport backer, but as soon as I put it on, which was in the middle of the livingroom floor, I quickly realized it was more comfortable than most chairs...and I was in the middle of the floor! I scooted right up to the TV, legs crossed, then tried it knees up, whatever, and I realized it was instant chair for gamers or computer users wanting to be closer to the TV than the couch is. Those ugly gamer chairs can be put away when this can be stored anywhere. For me, this is a double benefit. One of my best TVs is actually in my workout room where I had a fold up chair in the way...yet sometimes I did sit in there and just enjoy the quiet space or fold laundry while I watch TV. I used to also sit on the floor in there and have to scoot against the wall...this is SO comfortable. You know the bleachers at sports games? Now you have a back rest!Picnics and musicals in the park? full seat, backrestOn a boat? Backrest while enjoying the edge of the boat with water viewWatching the kids play or in a dog park? No matter where you sit, you can lean back comfortably. But here's the thing, the straps can also be adjusted instantly for perfect stretching after a workout. It has a layout of how to do this in the brochure...I would not have thought of that. And it worked great! At work, I need to scoot up closer to the computer screen which means I have poor posture and am uncomfortable because the chair backrest is far behind me...this works sitting in a chair as well, especially great for a backless chair or bench though. The enclosed info says it was created by a doctor for patients with lower back pain for support at all times, but it wound up being bogarted apparently by anyone else who wants equal comfort in odd situations where there is no chair.Incidentally, because you can wear it around your waist, you just get up and go do an errand, answer the phone, or whatever, then when you sit back down you are right in place again...it looks like there may be all kinds of adjustments when you think of a pack with straps, but there just aren't any once you get the straps where you want them, which you can do one-handed, it stays put and it's on and off in a second each time.the photo shows rainbow colored straps. It's not, it's solid blue.Apparently these are used by NASA in space, as the brochure shows pictures of them doing just that.So you have street cred no matter where you use it after something like that...But the first time you use this at a medical venue or concert in the park, trust me, it appears as though you will want two because everyone else has to try it on and pass it around and marvel over it. I watched it happen and, last night, when I used it at a "movie in the park", I can attest, it happens. No chairs to carry. I brought a rolled up yoga mat with a strap over my shoulder and this folds up into a pack and is super light so I carried it on a shoulder...I had the best and most comfortable seat in the house. And, since I didn't need to carry a chair this time, I had a free hand for a basket with goodies and wine.
