Small, very large
I bought this to use as Time Machine back up on MacBook Air. Not a good idea. It works but it is very slow . It is not a solid state hard drive. It is a flash drive.Otherwise it is amazing that something so small has so much space.

Price and storage capacity - excellent. You would be happy. Unfortunately I had to return this particular one but in return bought the same (this time with a half capacity). The problem I had was, I believe, not due to this device, but interaction with Windows. Some files/folders stored on this device were found corrupt. Unable to copy these to PC or other external drives giving an Error message - "The file or directory is corrupt and unreadable". Unable to delete these! The Windows function 'Scan and Repair' ('automatically fix file system errors' and 'scan for attempt recovery of bad sectors') gave up eventually giving an error message - "Windows was unable to complete the disk check". To copy files, even a file could not be put on the device! [Note. I am using Windows 7. Would Windows 10 bypass these problems? I doubt.

USB Corrupting time after time
The device corrupts files time after time. I use safety precaution and eject my usb, so nothing should be corrupted. Some files sill work but always my pictures are being corrupted.

If It Seem Too Good To Be True
If it seems too good to be true, it most likely is. I bought this for less than $14 and should have known the capacity wasn't going to be anywhere near 2TB. I have a video archive to back up that is around 300gb, and at first it would *look* like everything copied, but after the first 60gb of files, the videos wouldn't open and then when you'd unplug the drive and plug it back in they'd disappear. Why? Because the 2tb drive size is actually spoofed off of a 60gb real drive size, so anything saved past that amount is "hypothetically saved maybe?" kind of "saved".Listen, $15 for a 60gb USB drive isn't a terrible price... but anything's a terrible price when you're promised several times that amount only to get a drive that just tricks Windows into thinking it's 2TB. As it is I'll be marking this as a 60gb drive and throwing it in my desk drawer, and ordering a portable hard drive from a reputable vendor instead.
