Best one yet
I've read parts of this and had read Keo in other books previously, but this one was the best. Out of the books I've read in multiple series thus far, I enjoyed this one the most. This book played out like a movie, it had lots of humor, which made it more enjoyable in dealing with such dark fiction. Some of the scenes reminded me of some of the best scenes from the Aliens franchise. Keo's just a great character, my favorite before reading this one, but even more so after. If you already like the series you mostly likely will love this one, but I could see this being read as a stand alone for 1st time reader as well.Just plain loved it, great cast of characters and great pacing.

Combined 3.1 & 3.2 into 1 Keo storyline book
Hmmmm. I would read this series of books 1-3, The Keo Storyline, 4-6 and so on, I think. It was also enjoyable the way I read them, building up the suspense reading 1-6 then discovering this book existed, and filling in the blanks...like an added treasure map find! (Can't wait for 7!!) Thinking of rereading one of the books to better understand things I might have missed and not realized the importance of certain things...but either way you decide, you can't go wrong! It's an awesome series!!! Really glad this character's life challenges & personality was shown to the reader, before and after "the end of the world"! Of all the books in the series so far, this is the only one I thought got a little too "unrealistic", though I still enjoyed it & this book wasn't included in either book series set (I found it by accident) was the reason I gave it a 4/5.

A fun diversion from the main story line
I read Keo's story line after reading book 6 of the Purge of Babylon series and still enjoyed it just as much as the main story line. Of course all of the women are beautiful and the men are harder to kill than even the blue eyed ghouls, but everything about this entire genre requires an adept ability to suspend one's belief. Besides, beautiful women - good, guns - good, beautiful women with guns - really good. It's just a fun, easy read if you're into the whole apocalypse thing. Even though the ending is written to weave into book 4, this book can be read as stand-alone without reading the main series.

Great Book, Bad Diversion
This book was really fun to read. The author did a good job with the dynamic of the two main characters of this book. However the only downfall is that it is a prequel for Keo before he meets up with the group from the rest of the series. I liked getting background on the character but it was just a distraction. You are supposed to read this before book 4 of the series, I would just wait until you have the rest of the series before picking this one up.

Another good character.
I'm a Purge of Babylon fan, and Keo is another good character to carry into the original group from the first three books. There are lots of good characters in these books, full of non-stop action. If you like post-apocalyptic fiction, this would be a great series for you. If you're a zombie fan, like me, there aren't zombies, but creatures close enough to appeal to you. Sam Sisavath has become one of my new favorite authors. I definitely recommend this whole series. I've already downloaded all the books and can't wait to read them all.

An awesome side story!
Excellent characters in a dystopian world that I've come to enjoy! I like a competent hero who is still put to the test because no one is perfect. In a world gone mad, Keo ends up running from the black clad followers of a paramilitary madman by day and hiding from the deformed bloodsuckers by night. But it all comes to a head when the hunted has had enough and becomes the hunter. Another awesome story by Sisavath and I look forward to Keo joining the main Purge of Babylon story arc!

Highly recommended!
This is a great book to add to your Purge reading list. Lots of action, almost too much in a way. This guy just can't get a break! Usually, after a couple of books, I get tired of the same characters, etc. This switch up is great, now back to the Island.

Another action-packed story
Keeping up the (very) high adrenaline, action-packing, barely-breathing style, Sam Sisavath introduces a new character that we can expect to play a role in the main series. This offshoot is definitely worth reading, although as I go through the series, I do see some repetition of scenarios that characters find themselves in. Still, this is a great and highly entertaining series with strong dialogue and characters.

Not sure
I’ve loved all the other books... this one I found keoAnd the other main characters to be stupid with their actions and that annoyed me. With Keo’s implied background I actually thought he’d be a tad bit smarter... Gillian was just as annoying. Let’s hope when they are introduced intoThe main story that their characters develop a bit more “reality”.

Well worth reading
Enjoyed this greatly. It was nice to read Keo's backstory, and his journey up to meeting with the protagonists of the original series - although our introduction to him only goes as far back as the first night of the event which kicked off the whole series, so no details on his adventures with the Organisation are stepped into.Keo is a fun character. He's done some dark things in his pre-apocalypse life, and he doesn't really see himself as the shining beacon of good type. For all that, though, he is actually a much better person than he thinks he is.

Another good read
Starting to enjoy Sam's style more and more! Introduces more character on a regular basis that are believable and necessary for the storyline to evolve.
