Grumpy Bird

The children I teach love this book, they are 2 year old's!!

My son is 6 almost 7. He has some behavioral problems and we randomly came across the Hungry Bird book at the grocery store in a bargain bin and so started the Bird book obsession! These books are adorable. Bird is quite the character and I enjoy reading all 4 of the Bird books(at least 1 a night if not ALL 4). (Grumpy, Hungry, Sleepy and Boohoo (Bird)). Good little lessons in each book and end very clever. The illustrations are super cute!

A funny book for my grandson, he liked it, but I had to read it with my version so he would understand it better. I didn’t baby talk, just a little simpler, we’re trilingual. He was 1 when I bought it, now he’s two.

My toddler loves this book so much, however as the parent that has to read it, I can say it ends very strangely, but hey its a kids book.

🙌🏼 For the author and illustrator!! Love this book!!! Illustrations are so great!! Story is fun and preschoolers -2nd grade I think would really enjoy it!

My baby loves when I used different voices for the different characters in this book and the grump tone for the grumpy bird. Cute read.

My 20 month old loves when I read this book to her....it is fast becoming one of her favorites! =)

The story doesn't make a lot of sense

I love this book and have bought it so many times for a gift. Fun to read, cute story about friendship and how it is ok to feel grumpy sometimes.

This is a lovely book. Being a fan of modern and street art I was obviously attracted to the book as it looked a bit radical and different to many pre-school books. My daughter was only around a year old at the time and she instantly loved it. Seven months later and she still adores it - she points and the illustrations as well as joining in with the words.Happy daughter - and a happy dad.
