You can record on USB, memory card and cassette **Q: Is there a tone control?** A: There is no tone control that I can see. I've even checked the manual before I responded to this question. Tone is about equal so if you're into deep bass, this unit won't work for you. **Q: Does Karaoke enabled mean that it will play the special CD-G Karaoke cds? The kind of cds that will show lyrics in text if hooked up to a TV or phone?** A: Karaoke is about you getting help with the words and singing to it not hearing the words sung and trying to sing to that !! So since the word KARAOKE is in the listing it must hook up to a phone, computer or TV screen. **Q: I want to play backing track on one tape, sing over it, and record it to a second tape. Will this machine allow this?** A: No, you cannot record from 2 sources on this machine ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sharp Looking and Exceeds Expectations! *by on Reviewed in the United States 16 January 2018* I bought this for my mother who is very picky. She had a prior Karaoke that simply wore out. This one does it all and is still simple to operate. It comes with its own mike. It also comes with a remote control that has volume control and ability to turn off—No getting out of bed or off the couch to turn it off. Very nice! Lastly, my mother was very impressed at how nice it looks. She is very satisfied with the volume, ease to use, ease to set up, and all the options that come with it. I knocked this one out of the ball park! ### ⭐ This attractive but useless hunk of junk should be avoided like the plague. *by on Reviewed in the United States 6 October 2021* I knew I was rolling the dice when I purchased an all-in-one stereo unit to begin with, but SHEESH I didn't imagine it would be THIS bad. Slowly but surely, beginning on the day it arrived, things began to go wrong piece by piece....Right away, I noticed that vinyl records sounded *off*, especially on long, sustained notes and instrumental tracks. The speed was not right. I figured I'd keep it, hoping one day to fix it. I also figured simply returning and exchanging the unit for a new one probably wouldn't fare much better.Shortly thereafter, I realized that most 45s automatically stop playing before the song is over. The machine assumes it's the end of the track and the turntable stops turning, even though there is about 30 seconds of music left. One of the primary reasons I cut corners and bought this contraption to begin with was to record quick mix tapes. This worked fine for a bit (literally for two cassettes), but then both decks began producing out-of-tune, warbly sounds that made the off-speed turntable sound like Dolby Atmos. Yikes. You know when you leave a cassette sitting in the sun, and then you try to play it? Yeah, that's the sound. Thankfully it didn't destroy any of my tapes - yet - but I won't dare risk another. Finally, the CD player. How can THAT go wrong, you ask? Well, believe me, the ghosts in the machine found a way to screw that up, too. Most CDs skip, and some won't even play. My Sony boombox from 1998 that I've been playing to death for over two decades STILL works and sounds infinitely better than this new, shoddy disaster.Avoid, avoid, avoid. Don't cut corners like I did. Spend the time and a few extra bucks on individual units. This thing is practically useless, all hyperbole aside. It should be a crime for a company to manufacture products like this. If they made cars, millions of people would've blown up by now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than most high end stereos *by on Reviewed in the United States 28 December 2019* This is a great product, my son and I lister to audiobooks at bedtime to help us relax and this definitely does all we need and more. The sound is fantastic and all functions work as described. The Bluetooth works very well and pairs easily with all of our devices. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. I also look forward to using it for get togethers, the sound is awesome and will do everything I need. All in all this is a great stereo! ## Frequently Bought Together - TechPlay Karaoke Enabled, 30W RMS, Retro Classic Turntable, NFC Bluetooth, Double Cassette Player/Recorder, CD MP3 Player, USB SD Ports, AM/FM Digital Alarm Clock and Full Remote Control - Maxell UR 90 Normal Bias Blank Audio Recording Cassette Tape, Low Noise, 90 Minute Recording Time, 5 Pack - Audio Tape Cassette Head Cleaner w/ 3 Cleaning Fluids Care Wet Maintenance Kit by Alazco --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/313023116-tech-play-karaoke-enabled-30w-rms-retro-classic-turntable-nfc](https://www.desertcart.be/products/313023116-tech-play-karaoke-enabled-30w-rms-retro-classic-turntable-nfc) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
