You Get a Great model of a Navy Skyhawk from The Vietnam War. Easy read instructions/paint guide. Only drawback in my option is is does not come with any weapons except for two drop tanks, nor does it come with a pilot. Both weapons and pilots in 1/48 scale are available from Amazon

Hasegawa, in my opinion continues to set the standard for plastic model kits, and this one is no different. The quality is superb, the lines and casting clear and well defined. I inspected this model and I was washing the parts prior to assembly, ( as I always do ) and I saw absolutely ZERO casting flash or tree trash. The fit of the parts is spot on and the seams where parts fit together needs only minimal building up or sanding to be flawless on hiding the seams. Hasegawa is only one of two model brands I will spend my money on, ( I won't mention the other because this is a review for Hasegawa, not them ) and this is a classic example of why. You can't go wrong with Hasgawa.....

This kit is just ok. The fit on some of the parts left a bit to be desired. Excessive flash on small sensors made them difficult to accurately place. The air inlets were also tough to line up. It builds up to a passable display but falls short of my expectations. It would really benefit from some aftermarket upgrades.

Excellent kit-good panel lines. Cockpit well detail. No aftermarket needed. Decals are good. Since the A-4M was used by the US Marines decal selection is limited. Use the kit decals. Hasagawa did a great job in their Skyhawk series !

Hasegawa offers the best 1/48 A-4 Skyhawk family in the market. The fit is great and the model is very accurate. That said, Hasegawa hasn’t reissued their other Skyhawks kits in a while so that has driven up the prices of these kits.

This model has the detail I was looking for. The A4 was used by the II Marine Air Wing during the 60's when I served with the Air SupportSquadron attached to Wing. Looking forward to building it!

Nice detail. Panel lines were well scribed out of the box. Minor fit issues with a few pieces, but a great build. Comes with plenty of extra parts for various models of the A-4, but only two versions of decals. No ordinance included, but still well worth the purchase.
