Alpha Rising: Book 12 of the Grey Wolves Series

You're going to need tissues....lots and lots of tissues....I didn't want to keep reading but I couldn't stop myself either.... Tissues are a must.

I have loved all of her books and they are a great read but this one tugged at my heart strings waaaayyyy too much. I’m a flight attendant so I love reading in my downtime and this one was tuff but so good! Keep them coming Quinn!

I love this series! Even though a couple of the books were semi-tortious to read I continued on - and I’m glad I did. The storyline of this book was so much more captivating than a few of its predecessors and we finally got to see the characters show some development - with the exception of Jen. It also felt like this book showed who Fane was initially represented as in the first two books and I’m so thankful that it does. Him being less dominant than everyone else was getting annoying.This book still has a lot of inconsistencies like how Lilly is now a healer sprite when she’s been a seer for the past 2 books and Zara and Titus being from the same vampire nest when they were found on opposite sides of the US…This book, like the previous ones, could also do with some proofreading and maybe a little less Jen in my opinion ;)Overall a great read!!! Definitely recommend if you’re on the fence about continuing this series. :)

I have to say that I have been a fan since Book one however many years ago, I am an older fan too with hundreds of books that I've read over the years. I got away from reading for a long, long time so I decided that I needed to start at book 1, going all the way through, to refresh my memory and bring myself up to date, then I started reading Alpha Rising - I couldn't read it as quickly as I normally do because I had to stop to wipe my tears and blow my nose to continue and sometimes, I had to walk away completely to pull myself together - this is just a heart breaking and "in my opinion" the most well written book of Quinn's that I have read to date, although ALL of her books are well written and her characters are amazing. Back when that book was released, I remember someone on her Facebook page gave it away so I knew what was going to happen but I had no idea it would tear me up so much! LOL I've always judged movies by if they make me cry or not well if this was a movie it would be at the top of my list. If you are new to the series or are looking for a new series to read then please start at book 1 - they are well worth it, and then some. Quinn never disappoints.

I have been on this journey for a long time it seems. I love the Grey Wolves and I have read the books so many times it's like I am part of the pack and know them all and have come to love them all very much.When I read the title of the book I had a feeling of what was going to happen. I was actually truly nervous to read the book because i didn't want what I was thinking to happen. The rollercoaster ride i went on was way more than I could have even thought of.Of course there were many times i was laughing, you can't put Jen in a room with anyone and not laugh. But i have cried over many books in my time, but this book will take the cake on that one. I cried for hours, cried for chapters.Even though I feel like my heart is breaking in many pieces, I know things have to happen. As the Great Luna has taught us, things happen for a reason. I truly loved this book, even if I am throwing my Kleenex at the author. Also I truly love the author even if I am mumbling mean things under my breath.Please be prepared for the ride of your life, you will not be the same when you are done.FOR THE PACK!!Until Next Time... I literally cried my eyes out!This was a phenomenal chapter in the lives of the Grey Wolves!! Love this series.

I cried my eyes out. I have read all these books so far and I felt their pain. I'm still crying reading this. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Reading the Grey Wolves series has been an incredible journey. I bought and read the first book back a the beginning and I have been devouring them over and over again since. Loftis has created such an amazing and immersive world with these characters you truly become attached.I don’t even know where to begin….. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting to read when I started Alpha Rising. I can tell you Loftis will take you thru an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. She has done a beautiful job creating this world with amazing characters you cant help but get attached to. This out of all of them was probably the most emotional for me out of the series thus far. But with the pain felt while reading comes such amazing joy watching characters grow into their place within the pack. I’m truly at a loss of words with this book – I also don’t want to spoil anything for anyone who has not had the pleasure of reading this…. I am just going to go sit in a corner and think about the amazing book that I just finished. I cant wait to see what Loftis will do next with this series and what will come to pass with these amazing characters!FOR THE PACK!

Talk about a story! Having started to read the series I was hooked from the first book as well as the other series connecting to this one. Never have I felt attached to Characters quite like Quinn Loftis’s ones. They’re are smart, funny, loving, caring and especially the emotional journey of Alphas Vasile and Alina is no exception. This book and series (so far…) has got to be one of the best I’ve read. It really did have me crying at the end as it really did feel like saying goodbye to what felt like real people.Thank you Quinn for thinking up these two and don’t worry about making us cry at the end of this book - never stop writing You’re brilliant!Hopefully Alpha’s Fane and Jacques adventures are just beginning…

Should come with a warning ⚠ label.. Prepare to feel like ur heart is being ripped out of ur chest and bawling like a baby. Ugly crying.. Have been some real ups and downs in this series so far.. Read recently and it's true what read if a book can't make u feel a mydrid of emotions then not worth reading. The ones that do leave imprints on our very souls. We don't just read them, we live them. Quinn is an amazing author that does just that! Makes u feel them so deeply it changes u slightly on a fundamental level. Like every book that does. Though cried more tears that probably decent can't wait for the next. Please I need more humour/jokes next one like some of the others had can't handle more like that 💔. Until next time xoxo

Well Quinn I don't know whether to stab you with a pencil, or hug you and weep.As Once again another amazing book in this truly sensational series.You will need at least 2boxes of tissues to read this book I'm afraid.It is just heart wrenching, these characters have become so real to me, that this book has totally messed with my emotions.Each book gets better and better, and I just can't wait for the next one to be here.Your an amazing author, with a god given talent, May he inspire you to write many more books for this series.I so wish they would turn these books into a TV series, I voted for you on Netflix, as I hope many more do to get these books turned into a series.

Quinn Loftis never fails to deliver.Heartbreaking- have your tissues at the ready.Jen is back and on form despite being captured, actually she is back on more form because of being captured, it just adds fuel to the fire.Sally finds a new strength and uses the gift given to her to assist in breaking out of captivity.Jacque also comes into her own again.As well as betrayal and death in battle the subject of death is dealt with great sensitivity and you can feel every tear and cry that is uttered as if its your own loss.It is fitting that the story begins and ends with Jacqueline, although there is still much to tell.

Yet again Quinn Loftis does it with another edge of your seat book. Lots of sad tissue moments in this book as we say farewell to a few much loved characters. Quinn is one of those writers who describes everything so well that she makes you feel like you are one of the pack right there with them. You fall in love with the characters and feel like you know them. Please don't finish this series just yet. There is much more they can do. I can't wait to see what Thia gets up to as Jen's mini me!! How she will make Decibel pull out his hair. Will Slate and her be mates or even her and Titus. So much more. Can't wait to read the next book.
