No installation and works perfectly. The cushion is not real comfortable for long times (hours) but can put another cushion on top. I did not find a place to choose a color but received beige which was what I would have picked anyway. Also easy to move as long as you have a plug.

My mother in law used it and liked it...she went into full nursing care and a wheel chair so I gave to my mom who is in assisted care and has issues with her knees and it helps her.

bought for my elderly mom and was a big help

Not very stabike nor sturdy for price. Returned for credit back--hope I got it.
