Together Bottle: 40 Oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle

Finally found a water bottle to meet my expectations! Its "green", it holds half my daily water intake, meaning its easier to keep track of my water consumption and it doesn't make the water taste or smell funky. I researched water bottles for about two weeks before deciding on this one and loved it from day 1, although since I use it as my main water bottle I did order the kleen canteen sports bottle top (this one only came with the twist on/off top) and that really perfected it for me. Its easy to keep it clean, and seriously, no funky metal taste and no funky moldy smell. I've used it EVERY day for almost 4 months. It is a 40 oz water bottle, so don't expect it to fit in most cup holders, which wasn't an expectation for me, so it doesn't bother me. The lid never leaks so I just toss it in the passenger seat or in my tote bag.

I bought this in June 2016 and by November 2016 it had developed a great deal of rust (see pics). I used this bottle daily at the gym. At first, the rust was minor but then it really picked up in a couple of months. Fed up, in December, I bought a BPA-free plastic bottle (I will not mention the brand) that was made in the US for $10 and I think this was a better buy.

I have several of these bottles, and they fit the bill. I have no desire to drink out of plastic. They are lightweight, which is great for long trips. However, you need to know that these bottles are DELICATE!. A light drop on hard ground, they will dent and deform. Best used in a foam carrier to protect them.Other than that, they are great!

I gave a 3 star rating for the bottle only, for the sports cap I'd give it only one (1) star.For the price, this is a good deal. I can't understand why so many of these 40 oz bottles cost around $35. The cap is well sealed and does not leak. Keeps water cold for quite awhile - that is all I've used it for. I've been using it now for 2 weeks and I am not happy with the sports cap. Wish I'd read the other review that mentions this. The cap does not stay up.Emailed seller who responded the same day. They felt cap was defective and within a few days had sent me a new sports cap. Same problem. If you don't want sports cap, I did, this is a great dear and a good bottle. If you do want sports cap, Do Not Buy this bottle.I will continue to use it for now, but I am on the lookout for an a reasonably priced alternative.

Nice bottle. The first one came with a poorly attached cap. Tilted a lot. The replacement was better, though seems leak just a bit from time to time. I keep the bottle open, sitting on my desk, most of the time. So not a major issue. Good enough, cheaper alternative for Kleen Kanteen.

I gave this bottle 4 stars bcuz there was some rust on inside of bottle upon delivery but doesn't seem to be getting worse so that's good, holds #2 -16.9oz bottles of water plus a splash, good enough for my two hour rides.

No issues with this bottle. I’ve used it extensively for over a year for various activities. I have them in my fridge with filtered water. I wash them out every few days and dry them upside down.

I just received this bottle 2 days ago.I know we can remove it by using white vinegar and steel wool, but I should return it instead.Everyone, please look inside your bottle.I got a replacement today, but it has a long crack at the bottom. See Product Images from Customers
