This is a well made bath brush, with soft bristles. I would have preferred a little more stiffness but the product is as advertised. If I were designing a bath brush with soft bristles though, I would have made the bristles a little longer, but what do I know? I had been using six inch handle bath brushes for the past ten years but can no longer find suitable replacements. I used to break the handles on regular bath brushes routinely and although I have only had this brush a short time, it looks like it would take some doing to break this handle. I tried the Fuller back brush that looks like it might have been designed to clean toilets from a distance. The Fuller brush handle is way too long, narrow, and hard to grip when you're wet and I found it awkward to use. This brush handle is just right. If you want soft bristles (which I don't) I can't think of a better brush. If you're thinking about something cheaper, you're on your own.
