Great for early readers!
My grandson loves the stories and was able to read these before he was 3 years old. The pictures are bright and colorful and the stories are cute. The paperback books come in a little storage carry box which is convenient. Mostly all of the popular Thomas trains are featured in the stories and some that are rarely seen are featured in the books so I found that to be a plus. If you are not sure how to teach a child how to read or how to help a child read the first page gives you some helpful hints.These are fun to take on a trip to do Facetime or to send as a gift

The size and format of the books are not readily apparent and there seems to be some trickery involved.

great intro to phonics for train obsessed toddler
May as well start early with phonics learning using something little guy adores.Thomas the Train is a major hit at our house, including the potty training book.Whatever you want to encourage, Thomas and friends will encourage. . .

Ok but not as good as the older ones
Got these for toddler since we had found older one and loved it. These aren't the same. Smaller text, shorter books, missing part of the storyline. Wish they hadn't changed them.

Great book set for my 4 year old!
This set of books is easy to read for my 4 year old. He’s just learning and enjoys reading these books together. Recommend for any train loving preschooler.
